This is a great storyline/case study. If you lose 5-10 straight, teams will start to bring their B games and Det will get their W and no one will notice. But if you lose 20 straight games… now the pressure, desperation and motivation to win is back on the opposing team. Det are playing Game 7 desperation from the opposing teams every night while the rest of the league is still in the regular season.
