It’s an interconference matchup on the hardwood as a pair of teams trying to climb into their respective playoff pictures take the floor north of the border. The Utah Jazz are on the road as they take on the Toronto Raptors Saturday night. Utah battled Detroit on the road Thursday night in their previous contest in the second game of a back-to-back situation, earning a 119-111 victory, winning outright as a 2.5-point underdog.
Toronto was on the road as they took on the 76ers in the City of Brotherly Love in the front half of a back-to-back set that closes here. They were downed 113-104 at home by Denver in their previous game Wednesday night In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Jazz own a 32-21 advantage and they claimed the last two meetings. That includes a 122-116 road win in the most recent matchup on February 10, 2023.

Darko's coaching decisions & his highly questionable coaching staff leave a lot to be desired. Pizza party- really? Reminds me a lot of watching the Lakers mini-series on HBO when Pat Riley became the head coach- everybody liked him but no one respected him until he broke the blackboard in the locker room. Raptors players may like Darko but I doubt if they respect him or anyone on his coaching staff. I never like his assistant coaching hires. He should have surrounded himself with the best possible candidates- at least one with previous NBA head coach experience & one with respectable NBA playing experience. The front office has missed on trades (ie Poeltl/Young) and the draft picks (ie Dick/Koloko) over the past 2 seasons.
I’m over this… I got my eyes focused on Bobby and Masai… they have wasted nearly half a decade of our time watching this roster.
At this point, what i want is just losing remaining 3 games in this year, force the Mlse, Masai and Bobby to move on.

Sorry that post game from Darko shows me the dude isn't made for head coaching. Nobody is asking for you to suddenly make us a top 10 team switching the lineup, we know we have a garbage ass bench. We just want Schroder off the fucking starting lineup. There's zero difference between having Darko on the sideline and an ipad with alarms set for sub patterns. He doesn't coach he just exists to do the same subs, at the same time, no matter what's going on in the game. It's also really funny he talks about building chemistry when there's already chemistry there with Gary off the bench and in with the rest of the starters sans Schroder. He just refuses to bench his golden boy. Also trying to imply that Malachi and Precious are gonna be NBA level players simply because Darko is patient is insane. Those guys are out of the league after their contracts are up.
This whole idea that, OH YOUR ASSISTS ARE UP AS A TEAM GOOD JOB is just stupid. Are we winning more because of it? Nope. We're worse. Trying to implement an offense that is never gonna work with the roster you have is coaching malpractice. Everyone hated Nurse but he got the most anyone was ever gonna get out of this trash can of an NBA roster. The only negative I have for Nurse was he trusted Fred too much, similar to Darko and Dennis now. At some point, you have to realize passing the ball and getting these assists don't matter when for every assist you are getting you're getting 4 or 5 mistakes along with it.
I will refrain from commenting in depth about the Raps situation because it was obvious what they needed to do last year and Masai's ego has kept this team from building around Scottie and leaning into a poor product.
I don't like to get into race conversations but I couldn't help myself when you brought up Malika. There is another layer to it. Malika has a white husband and unfortunately that shouldn't matter but when she's viewed as someone who is attacking black men and letting white men off the hook, ie Josh Giddey until she's was pressured to talk about his situation, makes her appear hypocrital. As a black man, I'm not a big fan of hers overall. She feels inauthentic and does appear to have a bias, and their have been multiple examples of this online.

Man started off his show by saying I thought Scottie had a tough time guarding Lauri 🤦♂️ totally ignoring it was Clarkson that really took over the game in the 2nd half. since the rumors of pascal likely being traded and the team moving in the direction of building around scottie this man doesn’t turn down a opportunity to try to crap on Scottie.
