[Shams] Lakers guard Gabe Vincent will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his ailing left knee as soon as Tuesday and will miss 6-to-8 weeks, league sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

It’s good. I think we will trade him for someone. Felt that the FO might have hesitated otherwise but now I think they will. I would love Tyus jones
kasaan110
Welps that definitely means rui and dlo will get moved if we make a move.
tarlapan
Just bad luck. Wish we could flip him for caruso
Public-Product-1503
Great lowers his bum ass trade value
davensdad
This is a fucking nightmare.
Literally boomed our entire season. While Dennis was team and fans’ favourite. Fuck Pelinka forever.
off_white_bkgd
Smart choice. We don’t need Gabe now.
But in 6-8 weeks – when someone gets traded (or injured) – we will.
flowermoon24
Will prolly return on March? 6-8 weeks recovery but i dont really expect him to play after that timeline, will probably do conditioning, runs and more training. Wtf… getting paid 10 mil a year holy shit. If they couldnt resign Dennis, Jevon Carter wouldve been nice
DrButtLump
Does anyone know if that means we can’t trade him?
jaltaffe
Kendrick nunn … but for real we could have kept Dennis the menace smh

Anyone want to buy my car? It’s up on blocks in my backyard.

Welp, one less asset we can use at the trade deadline. Hopefully he can recover in time to work himself back into the rotation before this turns into a completely lost season for him.

If 6-8 weeks includes recovery then it’s not an obscene amount of time nor is it the entire season. If there’s an incredible trade out there, we should do it but also a healthy Vincent would be incredible come playoffs.
Also, the Nunn comparison is funny but it’s not entirely accurate. Nunn had fallen off in MIA and we had hoped he would get back to form with us. Vincent was killing in MIA when he signed with us.

Should have kept Dennis S

Speedy recovery for Gabe. Hopefully he can be back in time for the play-in

Another Miami guard playing less than 10 games and then out for the whole season, never sign any of them again
hansislegend
That’s fine. He’ll be more useful in the playoffs anyway for when D’Lo has off nights.
OptimalExpression540
No more guards from the heat

Out for season, let’s be real

2 months on the long end and let’s say it takes another week or 2 to ramp up that’s basically mid march.
