Good uh just you know kings were one of your guys’ only losses this season what are kind of some of the difficulties going up against Sacramento well I mean they can they can score it from every position on the floor and those guys that come off the bench I mean they put
Out a lot of threats and um really well coach team they they um hard to guard a ton of movement a lot of kind of random actions um they play fast you know um yeah and they just maximize the personnel and they pieces fit so well together so it’s you know really tough
Um and they put a big first quarter on us and made us chase the game and that was really really difficult for us I mean we we kind of closed it in but uh you got to play Perfect at that point so SLO got a lot of reps starting in
Place of cat last season um how does his role in terms of what you need him to do out on the floor change depending on the Personnel in this case starting lineup as opposed to Second uh I’m excited to see him you know we haven’t been able to
Play him a lot at the four uh he’s played mostly at the three for us this year just with the way that we’re built um which he’s been great at you know he’s he’s kind of you he plays a lot of different things for us but you know I
Play four and he and Rudy have had a great chemistry and um he’s really really kind of gives us a different like playmaking ability at the four that um you know C gives us a lot of scoring more um so yeah so that’s kind of different and I’m looking forward to
Seeing it because you know should be comfortable for us cuz last year we played a lot like that with them um but yeah you know and then you know some more defensive versatility obviously uh he can guard um you know one through four at times so switching becomes a a
Bigger option for us to at this point in the season what identity do you think is forming with this basketball team well you know we’ve talked about it all from the jump and defensive lead um we want to be a defensive lead I think physicality and length
We want to do things that big teams do we want to try to be big at The Rim contest shots rebound the ball well pound the offensive glass um you know I think offensively you know we’re really starting to move the ball much better we’ve had a bunch of 30 assist games in
The in the last five or six um you know I think we’re getting more and more comfortable with each other there um so that still is a work in progress for me uh where we should be but you know defensively I think obviously U it’s been our calling cards
Well coach vce you uh just mentioned uh about slow-mo you know in you don’t have uh service of Carl um how that change the Dynamics of your team as far as defending someone like uh damont sabonis had a triple double last night yeah yeah yeah tough that category he’s a handful
There’s no doubt about it man his physicality I love players who dictate physicality on the offensive end he’s hitting you first all the time he has the ability to get you in foul trouble he you know he he’s got also the skill to be the The Hub of their offense um
They play through you know they got this great combination you know it’s like they play through him and he kind of gets everybody going yet they still have the luxury of having Fox to be able to get himself going you know that’s always a tough one um but yeah you know you
Need as many big bodies as you possibly can so be being down cat against uh against him is certainly not ideal but you know we’ll have to figure out a way to to manage and you also just mentioned it too I know um Anthony Edward has said
Many many times that he loves playing in this building he loves playing against uh someone like uh Dean Fox and he’s putting up great numbers this year too he’s shooting better at the three-point line so just want to get your discuss you know your coners commentary on you
Know uh defending him tonight as well yeah I mean God it just gets I mean better and better man makes it so hard now to guard him because his threes going in at a really good rate and he seems so confident taking it um you know
His burst is there for sure he can score at all levels you know that’s always tough uh you know when we played him before we didn’t have Jaden um you know who uh is the guy we normally put in those matchups so um you know he really
