I wish I could fast forward a month or two. Changes will happen. Wood and Hayes should be out of the league. Dlo needs to be traded. Starting lineup changed and Ham 🤦

We went for veteran minimum one dimensional players instead of going for good two-way role players to help out Lebron and AD. The Celtics got Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis. We went for minimum guys and overhyped them because we thought they’d pan out like Malik Monk did.

LeBron openly said the same shit on a game against the Bucks in the 2021-2022 season and to the surprise of no one, we missed the playoffs in one of the most pathetic seasons ever. He knows when a team isn’t capable enough to win

This current roster is not winning a fucking title and also isn’t capable of making moves that can put us over the top, and it’s only going to get harder with LeBron getting older next season and beyond. Sorry I just don’t see a feasible way that we win another ring in the current LeBron/AD era

  4. Rob, it’s time to go all in on Lebron for this year or just trade him.

I’m a Bron fan but the Lakers front office should not bow to LeGM and get Lavine that will set this franchise back. They need a smaller trade.

Facts. Rob Pelinka is a con artist. Crap rosters year after year.

  7. flowermoon24

Last season one of the main problems was lack of real centers. Guess what Rob did? Addressed it by signing bigs on minimum deals and 2 of the skinniest basketball players ever

Yeah this was the game where I accepted the fact that the squad isn’t it.

Vando and cam too limited offensively.

D’Lo too poor defensively. Reaves as well.

Reaves and Rui somewhat competent on offense but overall not good enough when compared to high level starters throughout the league.

2nd round of the playoffs look like the limit for this team. Maybe if they get lucky they get to the conference finals again.

Not saying that these players are “bad” or the team is bad. They are just decent.

According to ham it’s cause of Christmas, the flight back, the road games, chemistry, etc. No joke, literally said this during his presser.

How many times will this team make trades? The man doesn’t know how to utilize player strengths especially in the front court.

Players used wrong or not at all. Hopefully this trade works.

  11. Which means the Lakers are / will not be on top teams level with this roster.

  12. No-Test6484

My issue is that all competitive teams are spending 20 million more than the Laker. That’s one more good player who will replace one of DLO/Rui when they get cold. Is Jeanie so cheap

  13. beasttyme

I don’t get it. Golden State can get a no name big and utilize them effectively. Ham gets bigs with somewhat of a name and can’t do nothing with them.

See ya later, DeAngelo Russell. It was fun while it lasted (again.)

  15. hotterpocketzz

LeGM is gonna be hard at work pretty soon

  16. Groundbreaking_Neat5

He’s absolutely right this isn’t a championship roster and no trade or firing ham will change that because at the end of the day lebron is still the best player on this team and no team is competing for a championship when u have to put that much pressure on a soon to be 39 year old as great as LeBron is

  17. niknokseyer

7 game losing streak if he didn’t try so hard on the OKC game. Would have been more pressure on Ham.

  18. EB_V3_4life

Not just the top teams though. LeBron and especially AD are going to be run into the ground by Ham just trying to compete with teams we should be blowing out

Reaves has been very solid since moving to the bench although he doesn’t fit the pg role that well, and Rui could afford more minutes but the rest of the team is too inconsistent

Lackadaisical on defense and rebounding, no structure or purpose on offense other than hope LeBron and AD work miracles.

  19. facts, this team is too reliant on ad and lebron both dropping 30+ points to get a win.

  20. Doesn’t matter if you have Michael Jordan and Kobe on the team with Hamas at helm.

  21. Life-Negotiation79

honestly man we just won vs the thunder and kept it competitive vs the celtics (if only rui made a couple threes when we needed him we woulda won this game too)

  22. Winter-Gur-9762

At this point we aren’t even making the playoffs. We’ll lose the play in
