My issue with this kind of thing is assuming if your team isn’t good, you are “wasting” other people’s time…so please trade all your good players because we need it for the discourse!!! Won’t anyone think of the content creators!!

If all fans care about is championship contention or tank for pick, then pretty much 15-20 teams are a stuck in the middle and are a ‘waste of time’.

Meh, it’s a fine intro for someone who hasn’t followed the team, but it’s basically just picking up the social media talking points without adding any nuance.
The firesale approach is stupid when you’ve only got one draft pick in the next two years and both those years are relatively weak drafts. They put themselves in an awful contract situation, but now they need to navigate it in such a way that between trades and the upcoming free agency season, they don’t simply bleed assets but find ways to turn those over into longer-term assets that make sense around Barnes. A firesale approach is almost guaranteed not to achieve that.
But if you’re floating Philadelphia as a trade partner when they have nothing that they’d part with that the Raptors would be interested in, it really shows that you aren’t even attempting to look at it from the Raptors’ side, you’re only looking at it from the ‘wouldn’t it be nice if other teams got these players for cheap?’ side.
