Every Foul That Caused Kerr’s OUTRAGE (Flopping or Nah?) 😡

When the Warriors faced the nuggets on Christmas Day Nia yic shot 18 free throws and this made Steve Kerr go absolutely insane in the postgame press conference how big a factor was the way he was kind of ref today and what did you think of it I have no no problem

With u the officials themselves um they’re all across the league we have really good efficient I have a problem with the way we’re we are um legislating defense out of the game that’s what we’re doing in the NBA the way we’re teaching the officials we’re just

Enabling players to BS their way to the foul L um if I were a fan I wouldn’t wanted to watch that second half of that game it was disgusting it was just you know just baiting baiting refs into calls but the refs have to make those calls because that’s how they’re taught

So I have a real problem with the way we are um we’ve legislated defense out of the game and in this league and uh the players are really smart in this league and for for over the last decade or so uh they’ve gotten smarter and smarter and they’re just um they’re just enable

We have enabled the players and they are taking full advantage and it’s a parade to the free throw line and it’s disgusting to watch thanks obviously flopping foul baiting whatever you want to call it has been a huge part of the NBA over the last several years starting

Off with really some of the legends that we all know such as James Harden but Baron James has done a great job of it Dwayne Wade used to do a great job over the years with his pump fake and draw the foul so we’ve seen a lot of flopping

Over the years it’s something that casual sports fans come into watching basketball and kind of might look at it and say what the hell and say what are these guys doing so I know the league likes to promote scoring they want stars to score as much as possible and

Obviously been getting fou and going to the line helps create headlines really where guys are dropping 50 13 and 10 which I think the league really loves but Steve curve here is basically saying at what point is this too much at what point is this unwatchable it’s been a large conversation this season

Especially around embiid about if the flopping has gone too far and I think it’s apparently visible when you have these SF Footers who are flopping because it just looks all more ridiculous when you have a 7ot 300 lb man who’s hitting the floor when sometimes a guard or a smaller player

Really just gives them a small shove So today we’re going to focus on mikola yogic and how he shot 18 free throws we’re going to look at basically all of his fouls except for really one that I thought didn’t matter but most of his fouls here I think they’re questionable

I’m gonna leave it up to you guys in the comments to decide if you guys think the flopping has gone too far but let’s get right into it the two main primary Defenders on joic in this matchup was Trace Jackson Davis the rookie and cavon Rooney beet so we start off here jic

Gets Trace Jackson Davis alone on an island attacks the rim he goes right it looks like he gets bumped it’s hard to tell whether the ref is really calling this after or before yic sees to throw his arms in the air and ask for a call

So this is kind of how we’re setting the tempo early is this bump here from Trace Jackson is a foul and then here’s jic with woney on him he drives left this looks like a flop to me but you guys let me know in the comments if I’m being a biased Warriors fan

Here and then Trace Jackson Davis now gets another shot at yage he does bump him but it appears to be a late call once again and then on the break here it it looks like Andrew Wiggins does foul him and then kuminga steps in here probably not a smart play he’s wait to

Step in here if he takes a leg up to space he bumps in this is a foul it didn’t look like yic active that much I don’t think he had to but this seems like a fair foul kaminga can’t really be jumping in front of people’s space

As they’re driving you have to have your feet set a little bit more there and then Trace here gets another shot at yage and Trace look like he got the worst of it in this matchup in terms of getting called for these this looks like

A weaker foul I don’t know how you can ask Trace Jackson to lace up his shoes and go play defense if he can’t do this against a massive Center who the whole game plan is to stop and let me close by saying that I think now there’s is going

To be a massive media campaign around flopping and fou baiting and I may have just contributed to it but unfortunately it’s probably going to be around nicoo yic which really isn’t disservice to how good he is as a player I just wanted to go through these fouls to get the
