sad to see that ime’s pretty much given up on Jalen.

  2. Few_Mulberry5372

Another fucking game where our 2nd overall pick was benched in the 4th

How many of these close losses turn into wins if Jalen Green was even a replacement level shooting guard? Much less the all star he was projected as

  3. theboykauai

At least the Spurs and the Pistons lost today. I can go to sleep laughing.

  4. 2ToTooTwoFish

Last few offensive possessions killed us. We didn’t do what we were doing while we were on that run, maybe because Sengun was gassed, but he should have kept attacking Turner who was on 5 fouls and the other guys should be cutting.

  5. We made 5 threes tonight (20%).

Haliburton made 7 by himself (58%).

We gotta trade or do something to fix that. It is our one true weakness (& we’ve been relying on Holiday as our best 3 point shooter besides Jabari which says something).

  6. This is the limitation of the slow pace and defensive minded playstyle Ime wants. You have to play so much harder just to even catch up against a good offense.

I hate the pace we play at and how many minutes Fred gets while pounding the rock each posession. He’s great at everything else but man lol

  7. Bigchoppy

How was their no foul on Sengun’s or Eason’s shots? Eason literally got pushed in the chest

  8. planetspeed42

This is the kind of game we were begging for last year. Competitive down to the end. Most all of them have been that this year. Things are gettin better boys.

  9. IllustriousLie8510

Tough game, you learn from it. Great to see alpi with a dominant display furthering his all star case

  10. Great game from Sengun, Dillon may be out tomorrow if it was bad enough for him to stay out this game. Halliburton’s shot is ugly and destroys you

  11. JaTari_Wemba

Brooks down the line could have saved some of those threes.

  12. LilBottomText17

our defense is soooo visibly worse without Dillon 🙁

  13. Caesar21Octavius

Happy with the performance. At the end of the day the blind female ref and freds shot chucking fetish sealed the game.

  14. bad loss tonight but not as bad as a record breaking 27th loss in a row. shout out to the pistons

  15. Look, I’m not necessarily one of these “bench Jalen for Cam” guys but surely if as a team you’re scored only 5 threes you give him some minutes.

  16. WuziMuzik

Man as fun it is to see Tari’s defense it is equally frustrating to see his offense

  17. Every loss is the same complaint.

We desperately need a 3pt shooter and backup center.

How many losses have we had because of one of these 2 issues (or both)?

Every loss is a close game despite these problems. If we fix this we improve significantly.

  18. antipoopsuperstar

Alpy with no foul called on the dunk attempt sealed this one. Tari got a lot of extra possessions but gave them away with his inability to hit a layup.

  19. CJ4ROCKET

Tari gotta start over Jalen going forward. No disrespect to Jalen, Tari is just too good

  20. RocketsBG

They just butt fucked us with that 3 pt shooting. I’m surprised the game was so close since we only hit 5 threes.

  21. fashionandfeetz

If we could make lay ups and dunks we win this game.

  22. lachdanan13

That was a fun game until the dunk attempt of Alpi was not called, that was an obvious foul and the game was gone there…. The Pacers hit some extra threes, and the Rockets had some easy TOs, when there was balance, the refs screwed it with one move, (actually hoping that this would be a home win)

Well, this team may need to find a solution for the starting lineup, maybe if a more aggressive five starts the game, they can balance better in late game time. Mostly they’re putting too much effort into finding their balance after a slow start…

Edit: The Lakers benched D’angelo, and the Clippers benched Westbrook, you know what I mean.

Pacers fan here. Sengun is a beast. The shots just didn’t drop today for you. Wanted to say that was the first time I’ve heard your commentary group, and they were very very good. Most “away” games I watch are awful, but your crew was knowledgeable and had just the right amount of homerism to be entertaining, but not annoying for the away team. Mad props.

  24. JavyJones

GG, refs were at peak form toward the end there, exquisite whistle restraint.

  25. Hope Dillon gets better soon. Please give Cam some of those minutes Ime.

  26. Can’t win with a 3pt discrepancy like that, Sengun did all he could in the paint but we have to hit 3s.

Haliburton reminds me of Curry the way he gets in a zone, I’m having PTSD flashbacks over here.

Amen needs more minutes, he needs to be given the ball more in transition, and he needs to be more assertive, he looks like he’s scared to ask for the ball out there, and when he does get it, he’s looking to move it right away. He played really well in the first half on both ends, I’m surprised we didn’t go with him in the second half over Tate or Jalen Green.

Shoutout Tari, Sengun, and Bari, that’s our core right there.
