I agree with the comment that he’d make a better 6th man than THJ because he is a better defender and ball handler and for us was just as good of shooter (for whatever reason the rest of his career he hasn’t shot the threes that well, but for us he was great? he was over 40% on threes with the Mavs but is about 33% for his career) . Much better driving to the hoop than THJ.
and Dorian Finney-Smith too. DFS is shooting a career high 45% on threes (career high 2.5 made per game) this season. I do think Jones Jr is better but DFS could definitely give us some useful minutes if he were still around.
I’m still not convinced of the Kyrie fit. I hope he proves me wrong because I don’t think he’s going anywhere.
