Regarding this moment, Billy Donovan called DeMar DeRozan “special” for the sacrifices he’s made, saying DeRozan has stylistically sacrificed to help others play better and always been receptive to what Donovan has asked, such as getting up court quicker. Donovan appreciates it.

From everything I’ve read about him, he seems to be the kind guy that is universally liked and respected by both his coaches & team-mates. I will also that those guys also happen to rate his game higher than fans and analysts.
I hope Zach is taking notes if the idea that he might return is true. We seen how everyone needs to play in order for this team to work now, its on him to adjust if he is going to come back.
I’ve been saying this for the last 13 games. It’s been impressive how DeMar has accepted his new role and started facilitating more (5-6 asts a game). He’s been a joy to watch.
It’s like he observed how the team played against the Bucks when he was injured and just plugged into the system.
And once again, this is a major reason as to why I wouldn’t mind seeing him stay as a Bull.
