Up only 2 in the final minute, and despite 37 in the 2nd half from Cade Cunningham, the Nets survive and win in Detroit, 118-112. The Pistons have set an NBA record with their 27th consecutive loss. Their next game? In Boston Thursday night.

Actually think it’s a good thing, vis a vis this being a trap game, that the streak is still going. It puts some pressure on the Celtics as you don’t wanna be the team that ends the streak. It’s like Joe was saying earlier this year about how it can be tough to get motivated for a random mid-week game in the regular season, well this streak will give the Celts something to play for.
