There’s a reason why Kerr is starting JK and Podz, but you ALWAYS have to make adjustment in game. At the same time, if Wiggs is slumping, coming off the bench to get the second unit running is the right move.

This really supports my “Klay is the key” thesis. When he plays well, they can play with anyone. When he doesn’t, they just cannot keep up.

What’s missing from this: all the on/off data. Which reveals the actual problem: Wiggins. Steph, Draymond and Klay are ALL in the positive when they don’t share the court with Wiggins.
Just as the opponent can’t take it anymore, Curry comes in as the 6th man.

Looks about right. Bench has been carrying the starters has been the story of this season. Klay has more overlap minutes with bench compared to other starters like curry, so he is less in the negative in comparison.
