Nikola Jokic tied his career-high today in FTAs, attempting 18+ FTs for only the 2nd time in his 695 game career (0.28%). Giannis Antetokounmpo has 49 games of 18+ FTAs in his 748 game career (6.5%). Joel Embiid has 34 games of 18+ FTAs in his 472 game career (7.2%):

Bam is a smart man. This is a good quote. There’s some shade in there if you’re looking for it (hey Joel!) but it is respectful of Jokic and the way he plays the game.
Bam is the best Jokic defender in the League, IMO. Game recognizes game.
An actual Center who faced him in the finals knows far more about this than Steve Kerr who can’t even be truthful about his own players and is just mad because they lost the game. Anybody who watches the NBA and Jokic knows Jokic does not flop. Stuff like this brings out the Jokic haters is all. It doesn’t change what most of us know.

I will be honest with you guys and say i believe Bam would be the best defender against Jokic in the league (hell probably the best defender in the league) if he was taller.
Like any ody shorter than Jokoc just cant guard him. It aint about skill or anything like that, its just that its really to guard Jokic even with size, let alone without it.

Though he’s still right, Jokic kills him in assists and is an overall better team matchup against the Heat because of the Nugget’s spacing throughout their career matchups.
