But that doesn’t fit with my Kerr anti rookie narrative, why can’t we get Mike Budenholzer 😭

Why did they let Jordan Poole do the exact same thing last season then? Man would mindlessly dribble out the clock and pass it with few seconds left on the clock.

“he’s still a young player with very little experience foundationally”

This sounds nice. Tbh, Kuminga’s commentd were not alarming either if you read the whole article

I’d say the coaching staff has been doing a really good job developing him.
He’s eager to contribute, sees the fans supporting him, sees himself playing well, so it’s probably a little confusing for him.

I don’t give a damn what Kerr SAYS about it Kuminga. His actions will always speak louder than his words. And until he actually stops treating Kuminga like a puppy who misbehaves and needs to be yanked on the leash and put back in the kennel, I don’t give any weight to what he says about him

Nothing Kerr said was wrong but what’s his excuse when Klay is missing rotations, not boxing out and having poor effort all around when his shot is not going in?

I wish he could just start balling out As far as averaging 20 to 25 a game Maybe around 7 or 8 rebounds and maybe 3 or 4 Assists I feel like he’s capable of that But at the same time I know he’s been limited so I don’t know But if he did that Draymond may not get his spot back And who knows how good we could be if he’s doing that almost every night Just dominating with Steph and Klay Hopefully helping us win

Kuminga has been in the system a long time but still hasn’t understood how to swing the ball in the warriors offense to get to the open shooters.

You compare this with Kerr’s comments about Wiseman. Night and Day.
Kuminga isn’t going anywhere, whereas Wiseman was on the next plane smoking outta town.
Podz is another one that Kerr really talks about in-depth similar to Kuminga.

Kuminga’s quickness making good decisions has been noticeable even on TV. Amazing development and if it continues raises him to another level. We’ll see how well it translates against better teams.

does he go over film when Steph and Klay and Draymond throw the ball right to the other team for a break away lay up?
ziggy_zigfried
I trust Kerr and hope Kuminga can listen and be patient
Or he can go to a crap team like Poole and see if he is ready to be the man
herejusttolooksee
Sounds great, but it sounds like he’s saying just pass it to the vets and be a dunker spot player.
They’re trying to fit him into a mold for the system.
JK has played well from the low block, has been strong with his first step, and has shown a great ability to finish. Kerr is trying to coach that out of him rather than build it up and add a new dimension to the team. That’s the part I don’t like
