Jacque Vaughn’s Response on the Reasoning Behind the Minutes Tonight
Jacque Vaughn gave a very long and intense answer when asked about him treating tonight like an "exhibition game":
"The great thing about this game is these dudes that play, 450 of them, they're special. It's pretty special to be an NBA player and I treat them as such. I don't…

Seems like Jacque grew tired of coaching the regulars so he threw the other guys in to spice it up for him.
You can question his x’s and o’s and his rotations, but one thing you cannot question about JV is his character and his leadership
In short, I don’t want to injure players that we may be trading soon.
This answer made zero sense.
We’re not questioning the players effort. It’s good to get a look at all the young guys to a degree.
We’re questioning a coach willing to punt a game that was still winnable entering the 4th quarter.
whole lotta words for scheduled loss
JV should be thankful that the Nets reporters are nice and the other media aren’t interested in us this season because he really made some questionable decisions and they wouldn’t have accepted his bs philosophical answers at every questions
Well it was a good opportunity to see what potential is there for our rookies and g league team our bench is getting up there in age so it’s important to build for the future. I just hope we can attract a star here again to give it one more run with this core Marks has been denying that we are in a rebuild and I’ll hold him to his word. No harm lost in remaining competitive. We have the picks so we have to wait and see where they land to build from there.
Lol he sounds so much like Aaron Boone. Sometimes I hate player coaches. They never wanna talk down on them
JV is my guy
