In the Q1 last 3 mins, Utah got a 10-0 run when Pop played one BIG four guards lineup aginst Utah’ two BIGs on the floor.
Walker Kessler got three EZ dunks
-Collins got pulled out of paint to contest a 3 pointer
-Guards kinda got blown by twice, so Collins had to help.
-No box-out, no rebounds, no effort.

Discipline, effort, boxing out, defensive rotations. If only these could be emphasized (or even, get this, developed!) by the coaching staff, but no, it’s impossible. It’s either innate, or you need for players to age into not being “the youngest team in the league!” to be able to expect it (actually, it’s a scientific fact that no high school team has ever shown any defensive discipline, effort, boxed out, or managed clean defensive rotations).
If you guys need me I’ll be making memes about ‘fans’ daring to question the state of this team.
