I still remember JDub’s reaction to the 8 blocks Chet got. He even had to look at the paper with the box score to verify.

One thing about Shai that goes underappreciated is that for someone whith the ball in his hands as much as him, he’s quite secure with the ball. He only averages 2 Tos a game while giving you 31 points and 6 and a half assists

Two turnovers is the Thunder record, and it took place in 2013 against the Lakers. The second lowest is four turnovers which has been accomplished twice this season. The first time was loss against the 76ers.

They should only have four turnovers every game, have they considered that?

Why don’t they do this all the time? Are they stupid?

A key reason why Oklahoma City doesn’t get hurt far more due to their lack of rebounding is that they turnover the opposition a league leading 16.8 times per game and are the fourth best at taking care of the ball at only 12.5 times per game. That differential is best in the league.

They are also the second best team in blocked shots, just behind Memphis, and are also have the second best defense from 0-3 feet, just behind Boston. Clearly, the Chet affect in action.
