Get an unstoppable move is really good advice. That’s a big part of my game that I haven’t got down yet.

The problem right now for Wemby (outside of just needing to be more experienced) is his teammates don’t look for him at all. So when he gets the ball he’s looking to do something with it. So he has to improvise.
I gotta say Pop has fucked this up big time so far. This guy coached Tim Duncan for decades but seemingly can’t get his team to run a simple alley-oop off a pick and roll.

good example of a player who was nasty in his prime but will be totally forgotten to time.

That Aldridge middy was a thing of beauty. Lowkey reminiscint of Dirk
MoreFeeYouS
Shaq said it before as well. He felt that he had various skill but at the end being a physical specimen was one of those that he focused on. That shit just worked all the time.

Shit AD needs to do this

LA is so underrated because everyone else in his era was so good. He was amazing until he retired.
Underrated_user20
Aldridge’s game was a thing of beauty. He used to be automatic from the midrange.
Old_Willow4766
This is great advice. Especially given Wemby’s heigh if he has a spot/shot he’s comfortable with it is going to be difficult for most defenders to bother him at all.

Finally, a retired player on a podcast with some actually sound and actionable advice.

Every time I see LMA I get sad thinking about what he and Dame could have accomplished together
BowserBuddy123
Before my knees and back went out, I could hit a little baby hook with the left hand from anywhere. Shit was automatic. Now I can’t push off my right knee, so left hook is dead.
PlumAccomplished2509
I could see a hook shot being this for Wemby. He so skilled he could probably pull it off even if he’s further out from the hoop
GringoMambi
That’s pretty solid advice. It’s obvious Wemby is top talent, so the likelihood he can develop an elite go to move is very probable.

Aldridge used to kill my Rockets with that fade away

Bros fade was a thing of beauty

For Giannis its a spin move into a layup or dunk after backing you down (optional really, it works the other way too). Sometimes you just gotta spam what works rather than fearing its gonna get figured out

Wild to hear LA relaxed and not dropping 50 y’knows in an interview
rumblegod
Glad this conversation is behind had. Players with too much talent find themselves out of the league cuz they can’t find a role or are trying to do too much.

When ppl realize he’s in the kp and ad off ball big mold and not the kd mold it will be better for him and every body else.
Dozck
I know he’s on a podcast and being asked this and it’s a hot topic but this doesn’t mean shit if he’s not communicating this advice directly to Wemby.
I was at the game when he scored like 55 all twos vs OKC lol. Good advice
dom3312
Reminds me of MJ, Kobe and Dirk when they always went to the fade no matter what
Smellmyhand
Always love LMA 🤘🏼
Bieberkinz
LMA’s mid range fade is gonna go down as probably one of the most underrated “unstoppable” moves in basketball, it’s just a matter of time Wemby finds his go to move
The_NGUYENNER
Lol it’s funny because Bam and UD were [literally just talking about how he was cooking everyone with just 2 moves](https://youtu.be/WCXfwDRvg3A?t=2008)

Actually pretty similar to embiids advice of “stop trying to do everything and pick one thing you wanna roll with”
Ngl having one thing you kick ass it is a great thing to have in your pocket regardless of profession

It’s a simple game bro. Love it! But same I was too skilled, unfortunate 👀

Love LMA, was rooting so hard for him and KL to get it done in SA. One less dirty play from Zaza Pachulia and I think they win that series.

First time Ive heard an interview of him not inserting “ya know” between every other word

[Bernard King had a great breakdown](https://youtu.be/SV0mnWkZN_0?si=AjS7DWBmMd0nOdth) on his scoring as well to simplify the game for himself
