I’ll pass. He was forced to play the bench after our key guys all went down. Now we see what we had sitting there all year while he stuck to his 7-8 man rotations and ran Mobley and Mitchell into the ground.

Here’s the thing: if JB is best suited coaching an upstart underdog instead of a real contender, he isn’t the right guy here. It’s concerning to me that he hasn’t been able to figure out how to solve against the REALLY OBVIOUS ways teams neutralize our starters when it matters. I dont care that the cavs bench can beat the mavs in December. I had fun watching that last night, but all that matters is how this team plays when the stars are on the floor. I give him a bit of leeway because everyone has been hurt at different points this season, but the little they have played together looked exactly like what I watched last year. And we’ve seen what that looks like in the playoffs when teams actually gameplan to beat you. I’m skeptical JB has it in him

He’s been more calm this year talking to officials than last year for sure.

This sub has a LONG history of terrible popular opinions driven by a vocal collection of people who don’t really have a clue what they’re talking about.
The hate that JB gets is just another example.

This is the conundrum with JB he propelled a young team to 44 wins in ‘21. He’s winning games this year with backups to the backups. We were like 3-20 or some absurd shit without Bron on literally ECF/Champ teams, food for thought.
Buuuuut you watch us even last night and as the game tightened up his flaws showed. We could hardly even inbound the ball (a consistent issue). And we all saw an entire playoff series. Is JB capable of inspiring more than hustle? Idk.
Anyone saying he’s not a good coach is flat out an idiot. He’s surpassed that bar, but this is a championship roster (or will be with time). The question is how does he handle that next step? Dude deserves his chance he already passed the first step tank —> playoffs.

Terry just needed to add (IMPOSSIBLE) at the end and it would be 10/10

Evidence indicates he’d being doing much better in Detroit than Monty Williams. It’s impressive what he’s done in recent weeks with this many crucial injuries. He also has the team playing well before they were shut down and left out of the bubble. Maybe he’s just better with less

What has JB done, his players are balling …seems like when Cavs pull out wins…JB is ok…wait til Cavs start losing and most will once again call for his job.. I Hope not, would like the Cavs to win them all, I do not think JB takes this team deep into playoffs…
