  1. This sub: Welp, time for another scheduled loss.

Also this sub: How could J Kidd lose this game? Is he stupid?

  2. Buckle_unit

Grant Williams now has 15!!! games this year where he has more fouls than made buckets.

  3. Putrid_Ad_2256

Mark Cuban’s sale is looking like a master stroke.

  4. Felipernani

i’m really tired of “moral victories”. hopefully we can get some actual wins with Luka and Kai out there but it just feels like we’re a step behind every contender.

  5. shaheedmalik

Mavs have more help than they think.

    OR

Grant Williams contract looks worse than Josh Green’s right now.

  6. We_hitt_a_boat

32 games in and this team doesn’t have a signature win. Best win is over the Clippers before they started clicking. I think we’ll be lucky to make it out of the first round.

  7. c0rnersh0p

Absolutely no reason to get infuriated by this game.

Yall can get mad about last game tho.

  8. HangoverGang4L

Incoming irrational Kidd, DP, THJ hate…in 3..2..1.

  9. slimkid07

Good fight from our boys tonight.

THJ and Powell were great. Hardy and Curry were cool, I just wish they hit a couple more of those open looks.

Screw the refs and Holmes getting a DNP

  10. At least we didn’t quit? We need to run something other than the top of the key handoff screen bullshit every time. It’s no wonder teams can jump our pass lanes because they are the same every game.

Lively had 2 tough b2b matchups but at least THJ was on one. Also, Naz Reid didn’t destroy us this time which was a nice change of pace.

The fact some people have the expectation that we can win against the 1st seed in the west on the second night of a B2B without Luka and Kyrie is wild. The mavs played a lot better than we thought. On to the next game

  12. MFFL12_17

I think Mavs can beat the wolves with a healthy lineup

  13. MFFL12_17

Holmes deserves playing time in situations like this

  14. ryleigh0716

Real nice games by Hardaway and Powell. Jones had some nice moments. Although his 3 shot percentage continues its downward trend. I thought Hardy was good. He just needs to shoot a better percentage. He can’t be consistently a low percentage shooter. He does typically play better when he gets more minutes. Besides his low percentage, I thought his rest of his game was ok.

Lively really struggled and Grant was really bad. Unfortunately Lively will have some major growing pains. If he played better yesterday the Mavs win. A better Lively performance would have put them in a better position tonight. Concerning especially since we may need to wait for the groundhog to come out until we find out if Maxi will be back in the next month or so.

Grant has been looking awful for a while now. He’s slumping so hard that he’s becoming unplayable. Lively had a pretty awful game as well, he’s getting a bad whistle as a rookie but he looked completely lost.

We did better than I expected, especially after that awful start. But it felt like a winnable game if we had Luka and/or Kyrie.

  16. OrganicHunt952

To be fair vs Rudy, KAT, Ant, Reid and McDaniel we did pretty well considering Ky,Luka were out who combine for like 60 of our points a game on efficient shooting.

  17. ComprehensiveLog7026

51% from 3 for Wolves. Still we managed to put up a fight. Kudos to us. Even winning the rebound game. These no Luka and Kai games shows who really are our rotation players.

Who else is trying to sign Grant last offseason? Maybe other teams have seen his redflags that’s why they don’t bid with us

  18. donihicks

I’m sorry but Grant was not a good signing. Surround Luka with athletic 3&d players like DJJ and you’ll see the magic.

  19. Damn if the pistons and mavs won today it would’ve been so funny

  20. HarrisonGod

Ah man, where was that THJ yesterday? Nice job that they kept that close, but can’t enjoy this moral victory after yesterday’s stinker. The only positive I can look at is that I’m pretty sure Kyrie will come back this Saturday. The team has managed to go 6-6(counting the Blazers game he got hurt) without him, in this seemingly brutal stretch. Things could be worse. Hoping for fresh Luka and Kyrie to come back Saturday, and star playing winning basketball.

  21. jennyisafriend

I’ll say this after every game idc. Mavs still need a starting big man and a backup point guard.

  22. I’ve never been a fan of pulling players for early foul trouble. Let them figure it out during the regular season, especially if they don’t foul out you just sat them and fucked your rotations for no reason.

Lively needs minutes and to learn to play through his mistakes. If he fouls out so be it, but 15 minutes is criminal. (I understand DP played well this game too)
