  1. Badji was a beast tonight. Really good to see his activity and motor every second he was on the floor.

Wemby is terrifying. Not looking forward to having to play this dude four times a year for the foreseeable future.

Rough game. At least Badji is starting to look like an NBA player, and lmao at another two way guy passing Moses Brown in the rotation.

    Great development game for Scoot!

Here are my thoughts on this game:

    Positives:

    * Badji looked FANTASTIC. Especially considering that these were his first real NBA minutes. Crashed the glass, rolled hard to the rim, and blocked a few shots. I knew he was a good athlete, but his athleticism was eye-popping even by NBA standards. He looks super mobile (which I didn’t expect), super long, and super quick off the ground. Obviously early, but I really think there’s something there. We’ll see how his development comes.
    * Brogdon had his best game in a while. Great game by him to take over the third quarter along with Grant and jumpstart the offense.
    * Grant seemed to put in a concerted effort to get some rebounds today, which we badly needed. He had a lot of really ugly ISOs, but to be fair to him we didn’t have a lot of other offensive options on the floor at any given time.

    Negatives:

    * Moses Brown looked terrible as usual. I can’t believe this guy is in the NBA at all. When Ayton gets healthy I would be happy to just cut him and go with a center rotation of Ayton/Reath/Badji with Jabari playing some center minutes too if the matchup dictates it. He had a couple of solid rim contests on Wemby, but is SO slow and uncoordinated (and refuses to leave the paint on defense
    * Scoot looked pretty bad today. It was visibly tough for him to get to the rim with the bad spacing we had, and when he did get to the rim he got stuffed by Wemby, leading to him second-guessing a lot and shooting a bunch of jumpers. I feel like he really relies on the spacing provided by Reath or Jabari at center in that bench unit.
    * The offense looks absolutely atrocious without Ant (and probably a good reason we should not be trading Ant anytime soon). Just awful and we struggled to even get good shots up in a lot of possessions. 34% FG as a team 🤢

    SCOOT CAREER HIGH

Not the most efficient game but shot 3/7 from 3

Once he is able to finish more consistently at the rim that’s when the scoring will come a lot more easy.

the blazers should simply trade Ayton for Wembanyama, I don’t know why they haven’t thought of this already

  6. BunkHammer

The thought of playing Wemby 4 times a year for like 10 more years is terrifying lmaooo

  7. kazmir_yeet

Scoot quietly with a career high in points with 25. He was pretty inefficient in doing so, but that just makes me wonder how many points he’s going to put up when the shot is falling more consistently :’)

  8. BrightenedCorner

What did you guys think of Wemby?

Scoot has so much potential, his quickness is absurd

  9. Vfbcollins

Really bothers me that the organization chose to run out an uncompetitive squad tonight.

  10. 2 MONTHS A GO A WISE MAN SAID

“Trail Blazers (3-3) still have a better record than Miami (2-4)
    HEAT culture baby!

  11. Fine-Cut7114

Remember when the heat had trash assets? 😂

  12. I remember the highlight reel of that one game Scoot played Wemby in the GLeague and pulled out a bunch of different moves. They can never take that away from me, no matter how their careers pan out lol
