Tank for the bottom and may look to unload some of their uh just veteran guys and maybe certain key players that they maybe don’t see for the long-term future uh there’s even potential rumors of Kevin Durant or Donovan Mitchell and look the Lakers like I say uh they’re

Very limited in assets so it’s not so much about like the quality of stars that will become available it’s more so of what is realistic for the Lakers now the Lakers even if they did get a Zack LaVine or a dejonte Murray they’re going to need other pieces right they need a

Either of these guys I think would be just upgrades um Dorian finy Smith would be the bigger upgrade compared to Royce O’Neal but Royce O’Neal is no slouch at all both of these guys are basically very comparable to like a torian prince if you’re not familiar with their games

Um you can make an argument that both of the well definitely Dorian finy Smith is better defensively um but you can make an argument that Royce O’Neal is uh is a definite upgrade both guys are still young enough to where they could be pieces for the long term right you look

At Royce O’Neal Roy O’Neal is currently 30 years old and then Dorian finy Smith as well same age at 30 so these are two guys that you could keep for the Long Haul both guys are on very reasonable deals uh both guys are guys that you

Could have uh like I mentioned for the foreseeable future uh when you look at Dorian finny Smith he currently is making 13 basically 13 and a. half million right and he is under contract through 2025 2026 where he has a player option um but you’re basically looking

At 13 million in regards to him and then as far as Royce O’Neal goes uh he’s on an even more favorable contract uh this year he is on the final year of a $9.5 million contract so under 10 million so you’re looking at basically 25 million let’s call it um in

In tradable salary for both of these guys and both of these guys would make huge impacts talking about two guys that could be excellent 3 andd guys that would fit seamlessly next to LeBron James uh next to um Anthony Davis as well again Dorian FY Smith would be the

Bigger price but Royce O’Neal would be a solid acquisition as well so this season you look at we’ll start with Royce O’Neal because I do think Royce O’Neal is would be easier to obtain than a Dorian finy Smith but so far this season for Brooklyn Royce O’Neal is uh playing

26 minutes he’s averaging 6.8 field goal attempts per game and 5.5 of those attempts are all three so basically all of his shots are three-pointers all of them right and he’s shooting 39% from three this year he is a career 38% three-point shooter the last three years

He has shot 39% so this is a guy who consistently on five attempts per game is giving you 30 9% from three-point range he’s averaging eight points uh five rebounds and three assists he’s a guy that can do a little bit of everything he’s averaging a steel and a

Block per game uh for Brooklyn and then again you move on over to Dorian finny Smith who that to me Dorian finny Smith would be the the bigger prize but I do believe both of these guys could be obtainable uh Dorian finny Smith in 29 minutes per game um he is currently shooting

45% 44.8 if you want to be exact on five attempts per game and he is taking a total of 8.2 attempts so again most of his shots are from three-point range he’s averaging 10.5 five rebounds 1.2 assist and a steal in a block uh per game these are

Two guys that again if imagine swapping these two with Cam reddish and Jared vanderbelt and then having Jared vanderbelt and cam reddish coming off the bench you would be stacked you got three guys in torian Prince uh Royce O’Neal and Dorian finny Smith that are all capable of shooting

38 to 40% from three all three of these guys are switchable can defend all of them are 67 to 68 you could you could literally go with a starting lineup of torian Prince Royce O’Neal Dorian finny Smith LeBron James than Anthony Davis you would basically is an upgraded

Version of the lineup that darham is trying to play right now that would actually make sense and fit and you could have some real shooting you could run all kinds of different lineups all kind of different looks and you wouldn’t have to trade much right again like you
