Being hurt doesn’t mean he can put his head down and charge into 3-4 defenders while racking up offensive fouls. He spams his stupid drive, thinking the refs will give him free throws, but it has the opposite effect. I’m surprised he wasn’t given a flagrant for elbowing the fuck out of Derrick Jones JR as Finch wastes a challenge on the most obvious call.
KAT’s whistle is soft in comparison to other stars, but his awkward jankiness does not help him at all. Not only that, we have to understand the ref’s point of view. Imagine being a ref and KAT commit egregious offensive fouls while constantly bitching at you. I wouldn’t be surprised if referees share stories about KAT and gossip about how annoying it is to ref this guy.

Kats put enough work in this season to get a little bit of slack, but if this behavior shows up again on the regular basis, he’s probably going to cost himself his best chance at a championship.
Also this meme is quite appropriate when you look at the context, Ant is 22 years old, and Gordon is comforting a child in the pic, the other pic is Gordon yelling at an Adult, Kat has been in the league almost a decade he should know better at this point.

Kat has been great this season at taking what is open, and not whining. Hes had a few bad games of the old kat and he needs to knock that shit off now. He is elite st shooting and has a long 1st step when the lane is clear. But hes too deliberate and slow when a defender is close enough to draw a charge. He doesn’t have the ability or agility to avoid charges.
