A lotta people’s Jaylen Brown and Joe Mazzulla takes haven’t been holding water
I really think the players have bought into Joe this season. Getting Cassell and Charles Lee has probably helped a ton too
Jaylen last year spoke so cryptically about everything. I’m so happy he got over all that because that deliberate demeanor on and off the podium has been super impactful.
People who’s opinions I care about concerning Mazzulla’s coaching ability: Celtics players, and that’s the end of the list.
Jaylen and Joe operate at approximately the same brain capacity so it makes sense Jaylen likes him.

JB passing is on point this year. Im liking it.
That play he did with the alley oop to Kornet at the end of the game was awesome to see. It’s a testament to his growth over this season
Jaylen Brown has been great this year bringing energy and hustle every game and he definately has stepped up as a leader with Smart gone. I’ve always liked his game, but this year he playing with more tenacity, dunking on fools every game and playing tougher defense. Having KP and Jrue help him a lot and he’s played some unselfish ball making the right passes when he doesnt have a lane or a great shot. Id like to see Tatum stop forcing shots but maybe that will come in time. Tatum seems like he still feels he has to be the man and take the clutch shots in close or tie games or to stifle runs. But the Celts got a starting 5 plus Al who can all knock down shots in the clutch. No need for the iso fadeaways and iso 3s, just pass the ball and get the best shot. DWhite is shooting lights out from 3 and KP has been money in the midrange, they got a better % chance of making the clutch shots late then Tatum fadeaways. But anyway, JB been awesome and him and Tatum are a serious problem for any defense in the league. Nice to see the Celts still getting Ws despite being down Tatum, KP or both like tonite.

Still not a fan of his delayed time outs. Hes gotten better with it, but like tonight in the beginning of the fourth; I hate how sometimes our lead has to be completely deleted for him to think about calling a TO. Overall big fan of Joe.
