Hey everybody Sports labing the ATL here uh this an Atlanta Hawks video but before I get to that just wanted to say hope everybody had a great Christmas Eve and Christmas unfortunately for me mine was not good I was in bed sick still recovering from a cold and sore throat

Now it seems to be just a throat but everything is getting better I spent Christmas Eve pretty much from 11:00 a.m. until this morning when I got up at 3:00 in bed with medicine soup rest so I really didn’t watch any sports didn’t have a Christmas Eve or a Christmas

So you know that sucked in itself but the way my mind is is that there are people out there who had it worse than I did so I’m still blessed and fortunate that I’m able to recover for it and it’s just something I miss it’s it’s you know it’s not nothing I you

Know I’ll make it up I’m going to do something this vacation with my mom uh we’re going to we already talked about it so I’ll have my I’ll have my Christmas still I have my Christmas this weekend I’m back at work I can move around which is great just got to just

Opinion um it’s just been a major disappointment it’s been a huge let down as far as what the expectations were for this organization once we got Trey young and then went to the Eastern comage finals and this by far is our worst year to date 12 and 18

I mean that’s that’s unacceptable man the talent that we’re supposed to have you know since then we’ve gotten rid of Cam reddish and um John Collins uh who else did we get rid of that was very high I’m not quite I don’t remember top of my head there’s another guy that well

DeAndre Hunter should be gone this guy’s just a bust um I mean we need we need to retool this team man and and and I’m and I’m going to admit that Trey young is holding his part he is but when I hear the news that desante

Murray might get traded after we did all that gave up a lot of picks to get him that tells me the Atlanta Hawks are disappointed with with his play and and I’m I’m I’m not disagreeing with them when because when Trey Young’s scoring D Shante Murray is supposed to be scoring

Just like the Warriors did when they were winning titles you got to have support we don’t have strength in the paint our defense cannot stop people we lose the teams that we’re supposed to beat I mean kind of like the Falcons right um just very disappointing I I I

Can’t explain it any other way the Atlanta Hawks have been very disappointing since we got Trey young in that Easter Conference Final Run most importantly the last three years have just been terrible we might not even make the play in tournament we keep playing like this underachieving losing home games losing

The team team you should beat wasting efforts by Bogey and Trey because Clint capella is not the big man that we need hre Hunter is not the defensive genius that we need Murray is not the number two support that we expected just terrible you know it’s just it’s one of those things

Where it’s just it’s a head scratcher but I’m not even mad anymore I mean I just want the team you know to do it they I don’t want them to I don’t want an Atlanta sports team to waste another Talent we wasted Talent with Deion Sanders he won a ring

Elsewhere we wasted a talent with Julio Jones he’s trying to win a ring elsewhere because he didn’t win one here you know we wasted the talent of Michael Vic you know we wasted the talent of Matt Ryan all we do is waste we wasted the talent with Dominique Wilkins with the Hawks we’ve wasted Talent with the Braves I mean I’m grateful don’t get me wrong to the Championships that we won a couple years ago but everything is a distant memory now because the Braves have led us down

On the playoffs the last two years the Hawks have underachieved massively the last three years going on now the Falcons have led us down since 2017 all the hype that we’ve got with these players you know Georgia couldn’t three repat I mean so I’m not too disappointed

By that because we did win back-to-back titles winning three is hard but when you’re number one almost all year and you lose a close game in the Etsy title game and they still drop you out of the playoffs and you’re playing in a meaningless bowl

Game um and my for me personally it’s a let down so it’s like it’s like kind of like we’re back to reality now you know I mean and I I would hate to think that the Hawks are going to waste the talent of Trey young and eventually maybe have

Him get traded it’s like it’s like Atlanta Sports it’s what we do Atlanta Sports drafts a lot drafts a lot of talent ented players in all sports they get us hype they have potential expectations we build around them in certain ways but yet we never win really I mean it’s it’s it’s Atlanta

Sports for you we it’s like we never play terrible to where we’re out of it but we don’t play that as good as we need to to go over the hump most times every now and then we’ll do it as proven but there’s something missing with it in Atlanta Sports lore

With these coaches and off front offices that we cannot get over the hump you know I mean out of all my time rooting for Atlanta in Georgia Sports the only only championships I have are two World Series by the Braves Atlanta United uh MLS and three national championships with Georgia I’m waiting

For the Hawks to jump on board and the Falcons you know just it’s just waste of talent and the at hawks just disgust me you know they’re unwatchable you know they they they’re constantly losing it’s just embarrassing I I can’t I don’t know what to say I I

Trying to get back to normal cuz I don’t want to spend my my next vacation starting on Friday when I get out of work I I’ll be on station until the 10th I’ll go back to work on the 10th of January I don’t want to spend that time

Sick so uh doing what I got to do I feel good I feel good enough to come back to work you that’s important to get out get some fresh air you know and kind of work the body out and everything because I’ve been sleeping basically katos for like three days you know

So but that’s all I got to say folks again hope everybody had a great uh holiday year this year with Thanksgiving and Christmas we got still got new year so there’s still something to celebrate and you know be blessed and fortunate and humble I’m very appreciative I don’t
