  1. How you gonna have embarrassing moments and not have anything LeBronto related 😂😂

That being said I’m easily choosing this game. At least with LeBronto you can argue that nobody was able to stop him in the 2010s from reaching the Finals and the guys a top 75 player.

With the talent we have despite today’s trade, it should have been a win. Not a blowout but just a win

  2. allidapserdna

    1. Losing to Detroit (ending their losing streak)
    2. Losing to Houston (ending their losing streak)
    3. 2 losses to Charlotte
    3. Kobe’s 81

  3. thenewoldschool55

These are bad but happened when the team sucked so it’s less of a blow.

The worst I ever felt as a fan was the Lebronto series. That was the weakest Cavs team ever that were almost eliminated the previous series by the Pacers. That series proved Casey and Demar weren’t built for greatness.

  4. slamdunk23

You are missing Lebronto and Demar’s daughter getting in our heads

  5. Pretend_Highway_5360

why John Wall always throwing up gang signs lmao

  6. Le_Atheist_Fedora

    81 is #1 by a gigantic margin.

    This loss is #2.

The other are a distant 3rd and 4th, people hardly ever talk about those.

  7. Thealk3mist

Kobe’s 81 was so horrendous, that it sits in the mind of every star for years. Rest in peace he’s passed so ppl chill.

  8. MrJamally

81 because every single retrospective video about Kobe will show clips of the game. Nobody will remember the others.

  9. unclekarl_

Idk if it’s just me but I’m really not embarrassed by this loss.

We flew in super late on a back to back after playing a hard game against the Celtics and we just made a major trade so the team was 100% distracted and our lack of depth because of the trade meant we were extremely thin.

I was honestly expecting to lose lol

  10. 2012 Raptors were only slightly less shit team, so that one isn’t even that embarrassing.

  11. the disrespect on the raps team that fought from being out of the picture, losing vince, clawing into the playoffs, forcing a game 5, and then brain cramped the game away

also esp that 2nd vince loss was EMBARRASSING. the walk off allyoop? really? really?

tbh I dont have today in the raps top 10 given the whole losing 1/5 of the roster a few hours before the game thing. we all thought they’d lose before that. meeting expectations <> embarrassing

edit: trying to fill out a top 10:

FUCK someone with a better memory than me pls help- but remember early in the we the north era we had the first national US game we’d had in YEARS? and everyone was so excited for it…. and then we lost by like 40? good times.

losing the series to the wizards, every loss there should qualify but def game 7

definitely 3 or 4 lebronto games

the game that triggered the we the north era and started the warriors dynasty when we blew a like 30 point 2nd half lead in oakland

that first playoff game with kawhi against the magic, DEF embarrassing

that preseason loss to maccabi TA, first nba team to lose to a euroleague team IIRC?

tbh the whole kevin oneal era was an embarrassment, I’m trying to pick just 1 moment but again brain not good enough. that game where we didnt even score 60 points?

    we have lots of options!

  12. Big_Albatross_3050

Bro what kind of demon did we make a pact with for 2019?

  13. PriorityPoints

As much as it sucks to have someone drop 81 on you, we’re talking about one of the best players of all time. All-NBA defenders have had large performances hung on them, I don’t even think this one qualifies to be on here.

I don’t even remember that Rockets game. This was during the covid season it sounds like, so I think that itself is a reasonable enough excuse.

During 2012, we should’ve gotten those wins but its not like we were that much better talent wise. Definitely qualifies for this list, but still a distant 2nd.

Losing to the Pistons on this horrible a stretch, considering the sheer talent discrepancy between the two teams is absolutely preposterous. I hope the players that stepped on the court today get ridiculed for this for years to come. Any viewer can tell we dialed it up there in the end and the question is why so late? Why did they completely get in their own heads and lose in the sloppiest fashion possible? At the year end presser, Masai referenced some random New Orleans game last year being a tipping point and I don’t know how this one isn’t 10x worse.

  14. basil_24222

Kobe 81 cuz that’s always gonna be talked about

  15. rockingthefreeworld1

There is nothing embarrassing about losing to a team that was motivated at another level to avoid their own embarrassment.

  16. Of these four options losing twice to the Bobcats was the most embarrassing based on how bad Charlotte was that year. Not like the raptors were going anywhere at the time. This was a bad team playing a very bad team.

Kobe’s 81 game was an example of his ability to put a team on his back and incredible efficiency. He shot 60%+ from the field, 54% from 3 and was 18-20 from free throws.
It didn’t matter who was guarding him: MoPete, Graham, Rose, Mike James. Kobe was lights out, the other 8 lakers who played went 14-42 from the field.

The Pistons are a very bad team and the raps are a bad team and this game will likely be forgotten about in 2 weeks when RJ starts hometown cooking.

The rockets game isn’t overly embarrassing, I’d already forgotten about it!

  17. thethunder92

    81 points was humiliating

It was like watching a fire burn down your house
    I couldn’t look away

  18. Prestigious-Oven-642

This narrative is a made up joke
Who cares? This will be long and forgotten a week from now
Did the raps lose 28 in a row? No you copy cat fools

  19. HappySmileSeeker

Kobe’s is least embarrassing that was just masterclass.

  20. Barnicus57

You forgot to add game one of the 2007 playoffs, where the team handed out red t-shirts to the ACC crowd, only for the Nets to wear their red uniforms and also win the game.

  21. I think Lebronto would easily be #1 if not for 2019. As is, I put it slightly above 81, and both still do clear tonight by a healthy margin.

  22. TheNewKing2022

in all honesty a loss is a loss. If the pistons were 33-0 what is the difference.

  23. motherseffinjones

Lebronto is by far my worst raptors fan moment. If it’s this list Kobe 81

  24. ifyouhavetoaskdont

Honestly.. none of these but the 81 matter. No one remembers the rest. The team losing to end a streak never really matters, other than immediately after it happens. All history remembers is the streak istelf, if it was worthy. Move on to better things coming!

  25. ElectricalBicycle212

The beginning of the Linsanity era. The buzzer beater was a bad one too 🤦‍♂️

  26. satinlives

Personally I think the LeBron falling out of bounds one handed game winner to sweep us was by far the most embarrassing moment for the franchise.

  27. idontbrowseaww

Didn’t Jeremy Lin also kill us at the buzzer during Linsanity too? Man our franchise has some L moments.

  28. kukasdesigns

People arguing Lebronto is embarrassing like he isn’t the best all around player in the history of the league.

  29. TheMikeSweeney306

Losing to the 2012 Bobcats TWICE in the same season is low key the most embarrassing. This Pistons team would mop the floor with that Bobcats team in a seven game series. A historically bad team in 2012 had a lot less talent than a historically bad 2023 team. That Bobcats roster is the absolute shits.
