Knicks trade

OG is a good 3&D addition, but adding quickley to that trade makes NO sense to me. Did one of the threats in the East get better or just lose a valuable piece? and if you think knicks won the trade please make it make sense to me

Dawg they sold their future for a win now move, if og doesn’t stay this offseason that will be a horrible one sided traded where the knicks pretty much just gave up on their future

They’ll never be a threat with Randle there lmao

I love IQ a lot, a player I think heat should have targeted as future PG solution

Re-signing him at market value especially with Brunson as their guy doesn’t make much sense but feels like maybe a better player would have been available for this package.

Yeah, that one was a lose lose to me. The Knicks still have no shot of defeating the Celtics or Bucks in the playoffs after that trade, in my opinion. At least the Knicks kept all their picks tho in case they want to make a bigger splash to really compete.

And the Raptors should have gotten picks in a OG trade, now they will stay mid like the Bulls are rn.

  6. Kinda surprising to see people thinking the trade wasn’t good to the Knicks… Quickley can’t play with Brunson so every team in the league knew the Knicks wasn’t going to pay him what he asks for.

OG is probably the best player available to trade right now because i doubt someone like Mitchell will become availabe. Knicks even kept their 1st round picks.

Super mid. Jaime is already better than OG

OG gonna thrive under Thibs imo. Knicks should go all in but their FO is pretty incompetent.

  9. They need 3&D and that’s what they got so from that perspective it’s good. But they weakened their bench imo. The other players they got–Malachai Flynn and Precious–they’re bad bad.

Either way their center situation with Robinson out for the season is not good. Harterstein was weak af against us in the playoffs and signing unemployed Taj Gibson does not strike fear in anyone’s heart. They can try Precious at the 5 but again, thats not something a team should want. So I’m not worried about them this year. maybe next year.

They obviously got better. OG may not be a superstar, but he’s still definitely a huge addition. It’s already annoying that they have a boat load of wing defenders on their team, let alone adding OG with them. Plus this sub may shit on Achiuwa at times, but he’s still a good defender while shooting 39% from 3PT.

Think this is a part 1 trade, they still have all their first round picks and the frps they acquired over the years, Grimes, Josh Hart, Donte, Evan Fournier expiring contract to match salary
they will make a push for a Donnovan Mitchell now.

The Knicks need to lose 2 SRP for tampering this time.

I like him, but I don’t think this does much and feels like a panic move tbh and like top comment said, Randle is still there

What we gotta do to get Brunson ? He belongs here

Needle hasn’t moved imo. Don’t really care about the move for either team
