The Season that can show how seriously we take this game and how much we want to win I always want to win man I’m sore a loser man it’s a great format very exciting you know makes it more playoff lights you know winner go home us should

What’s the experience been like so far playing in the tournament game it’s weird because the energy you can tell it’s like something is happening but it’s new so I’m not really sure what the hell is going on like what I don’t really know what what’s going on so you

Know something is going on it seems like a moment the court you know the uniforms TV game and all that but nobody really I don’t think nobody really know what’s going on so we just you know we just trying to get to Vegas a Milwaukee Buck meeting the Charlotte Hornets For the

First Time of the Season and it presents the second inseason Tournament game for the bucks Yannis doesn’t waste any time spin move in for two jannis picking up some speed and flushes it home like you can just see that coming he’s got nine we are aware of the the point system

With group play and the tournament that’s an important thing for us also how about a Dame flush love it D with a dunk you know you want to be respectful you don’t want to try to embarrass teams or whatever but uh it might come down to that and uh that’s

Part of the tournament and everybody’s aware of it so we got to do what we had to do loses set a p the piece exactly the way they threw it up Andre ax School them ax that’s tough 130 to 99 your final in season tournament the Box improved to 2

And0 once again an inseason Tournament game with the Washington Wizards the Bucks look to improve to three and0 screen and here comes jannis pick and roll action between jannis and D finding Brook Lopez count the pocket what a night lava to Yannis lays it in on the inbound pass from Middleton moves it

Into the front Court hesitation goes right past gaffard and then flips the shot up and in as it hangs on the rim kicking it out to Chris Middleton alltime three-point leader in Buck history has another at the end of the day this was really really good win for

Us um just coming off of of of the Boston game and then you know turn around I thought you know our players made some gritty plays especially bees down the stretch it in you know it’s the NBA uh teams are going to have nights you’re going to have dog fights like this

Sometimes the ball was hopping and moving around and making plays for each other and it it was beautiful it’s fun basketball off here’s PC with the reverse well I mean look I think it’s tough to beat any NBA team twice in a week right you know you start to know

Each show Tendencies and things of that nature and becomes a little playoff like um games are going to be closer and things like that you know they got a lot of talent over there and uh you know I think you know they got a young team

That you know has a chance to to be pretty good in the future It’s the final night of group play in the inaugural inseason tournament with big implications here in South Florida it’s a rematch of a first round playoff series from last season as the Milwaukee Bucks take on the Miami

Heat what a pass there what a finish by poppy here is Dame Lillard with his first three-pointer wide open if he can find was always Yiannis how about the cherry on top we had a great start tonight we just got to be able to sustain it you know you’re not going to

Be perfect for a whole game but I think we got to have less highs and lows more you know just even you have to do all the little things that go into winning players uh settle themselves down and again we just comes down to execution Chris midleton lets it Fly

What a bucket you got to have guys that are good decision makers guys that really believe and I think um those are the moments that you really get opportunity to see like who really believes and for me soon as I see the time start going down under 3 4

Peanut butter and jelly between those two kick it over to the L easily from the way he’s been beautiful catching and shooting knocking down so many shots finding Brook Lopez whoes into jannis he’s got eight points give credit to the Knicks that you know they were tough tough-minded group uh well coached

Group but I thought you know tonight our team was the better team Chris off the bounce so cool calling Collective I really like how we are we starting to learn each other finding b Lopez and they poke it free Here Comes BBY BBY [Applause] BBY it’s not perfect but I just like

That is you know we’re showing Improvement we know that we’re facing a very confident team in Indiana you know it’s going to be another challenge for us we’ll be prepared for them we’re not done uh we’re we’re going to Vegas we’re probably not mad at that but we’re not

Done there’s something bigger than basketball and those things is what it’s all about you know when anytime we can give back and you know we got to do more of that always say you know we got to do a lot more of that anytime you are in a

Position to give is it’s just the right thing to do I don’t think it’s a matter of time or trying to get yourself settled anywhere um you know everywhere that you go there going to be people in need and people that can use some support and some love and assistance

Especially during the holidays you going to shop or what you just ask me about the game tomorrow right so we going to have y’all come to the game tomorrow and watch pregame and watch the game my understanding that I know that this is much bigger than me you know I

Know it’s something that’s necessary the holidays are about love and it’s about giving you know children need that love and they need that support they need to be seen and to be heard and as an adult I realized that you know from my own childhood so when these opportunities

Are are there that’s something that I I’m willing to go out of my way to do you know not just be a part of it but I I want to participate in that and um you know this is another case of that giving season uh all these kids are out here

Giving for their families they’re not even worried about themselves and it’s pretty cool to see but now man it’s all about giving seeing seeing the smiles on everyone else’s face and the kids are doing the same thing they’re they’re trying to get other things for others

You know and that’s kind of what I’m big and you know and you can tell these kids yet they have good hearts and pure hearts and I just try to be supportive and be the best me I could be for them you know and try to give them like wisdom while I’m

Here you know the Make A Wish Foundation and and the Bucks being able to partner with them and having them come in the gym and just seeing the the the smiles on on the kids face you know these kids are battling they’re they’re Fighters and and they’re coming in and uh you

Know all they want to do is be around the the Milwaukee Bucks players and uh it was special you know and a couple of the kids got to stay after and and shoot on our goals play one-on-one with our with our guys and and mingle and and you

Know just to see their smile on their face and and then the Gratitude from the parents uh just they were just so you know appreciative of the opportunity and so you know th those things is what it’s all about you know when anytime we can

Give back and um you know we got to do more of that I always say you know we got to do a lot more that we we’re so focused on basketball all we think basketball basketball basketball but being able to get outside of that and getting in the community and

Seeing what’s actually going on around us cuz you know sometimes we kind of get lost in the man we just basketball we here we there but like we in a city as well so being able to reach out um and be around the people in the community um

It’s pretty dope uh I know they love it I for sure love it uh because it’s man they a part of the family they a part of the book’s family this this this team is is a part of Milwaukee it’s cool to see my teammates just involved in all those

Aspects especially in this city in Milwaukee where they support and you know love us dearly to till everything we do even on our worst days we still get cheered for you know we don’t get booed good job I saw you made that nice okay okay now you got to do this now you

That they’re passionate about um I’ve always loved anything with a story reading comics movies so this seemed really natural it’s a lot of fun so y’all going to get a a good game from us tomorrow we got to get our lick back so y’all enjoy the game You got Indiana again tomorrow obviously it’s not an in season Tournament game but is there a little extra emphasis going against them again oh no question no doubt meet the Pacers for the second time and not even a week after losing to them in the semis in Vegas and the inseason Tournament Lillard feeling Giannis in the mid post he takes it inside there’s your paint points Giannis on The Fast Break for two pocket pass for Giannis that’s pretty organic for him Janis makes it look so easy he’s got 11 Yannis on the break pump fake lays it down with the left

Whatever it takes to win count the pocket he’s on one tonight 51 points he knows it I was just coaching the game and one of the coaches told me hey Giannis is has 50 and I had no idea a screen from Brooke Giannis in and out tripole off

The class count it a new career high for one of the Bucks Legends coach Griff told me was like two points away from the franchise record and I told him like coach I’m good he’s like no you’re two points away from the franchise record get it and I was like

Okay great go try to get It 90 seconds left to play here Comes jannis 59 points 61 for Yannis and taken away Yannis isn’t this fitting hello history 6 four points for Yannis maybe the first time in his career and the first time in franchise history a new franchise record yanis tupo with his fingerprints all over it

Giving us a night that we’ve never seen before in franchise history wow you know just what a great performance anytime you can score that many points in the NBA game is special you set a new franchise record record what are you feeling right now it’s a great feeling it’s a great

Feeling you know uh being able to you know do do it as as much as I can you know I try I try I try to play basketball for the for the right reason I try to play basketball to win try to play basketball to uh help my teammates be great but at
