Was Masai trying to do Casey (who works for the Pistons’ front office) a favor, or why couldn’t he wait just a day.

once nurse left, regardless of how, team lost its captain

Current crop of guys has a lot of boring personalities on it. I bet RJ and Quickley will be big for culture behind the scenes.

And I honestly think if this culture thing is as persistent of a problem as it’s seemed the past couple of seasons, the Raptors should make more of whatever moves they need to make sooner instead of waiting a few weeks. Get as much of the old group out at the same time as possible so you can get the whole wave of new people in at once. Let them disrupt the way the locker room works.

The Raptors badly need a “y’all look so different now.”

This is issue when you so many guys experings playing for contracts

    Yesterday trade was a start

Now get Siakam and Trent off this team, even schodor gtfo

Scottie took huge step, time to build around him

  5. karlwhethers

I would absolutely love Schroder on the Wolves. Don’t think we have anything the Raps are really interested in, though.

  6. mr_robust

He just realized this now.? Lmfao.

Craptors are a soulless franchise owned by a cable company who dgaf.

Too many guys with personal goals.

Siakam wanted to make all nba to be supermax eligible, but saw the team basically being handed to Barnes

Barnes wanted to establish himself as a star

OG has never wanted to be a 3&D guy. Same for Trent. Which is a problem because the team needs their shooting WAY more then their self creation (especially since neither of them is good at it)

Even Dennis probably knew coming into the season that it was his last chance to be a starter on a team.

And like I don’t blame any of them, when you are not on a contender, and you realize 10 games into a season that you are not even a pretender, it’s perfectly normal

  8. They shouldn’t have hired a rookie coach tbh. That shit only works for title teams with everyone already locked in.

Not that it would’ve made a huge difference, but would’ve provided stability. Very likely Darko is getting fired sometime during his contract.

My money is on Quickley blossoming and becoming the culture setter

  10. I think lakers culture is little easier for you Dennis

  11. CruffTheMagicDragon

These guys really fell apart after Kawhi left huh?

  12. Comeaukazi

Sounds like someone is grumpy that the raps just made a trade that will keep him out of the starting lineup moving forward..

Honestly, it’s mostly just about losing. If the same group of guys were 20-12 instead of 11-20 then none of this would be an issue. I am hopeful that IQ will be an ideal fit with Scottie.

  14. TheReal_Slim-Shady

Yay, we found the team to shit on after Pistons

  15. brunomoore

Don’t forget this guy turned down 84m from the lakers

  16. Boomhauer_007

Wow who could have a guess a team that needed to rebuild but refused to commit to a rebuild was gonna have culture problems

They’ve spent 3 years repeatedly running it back with a group that wasn’t working, and then made baffling moves like the Poeltl trade + extension, this was incredibly predictable

  17. BigBodyBrax

Trade him back to lakers for Christian Wood and a 2nd rounder

  18. OsamaGinch-Laden

As a raptors fan, idgaf what Dennis is talking about. He can complain from the bench now that quickly stole his starting spot.

  19. edric_the_navigator

Is there any way the Spurs can get him? They badly need an actual point guard and veteran presence.

  20. SixGunChimp

Schroder for Gabe Vincent swap. 1 for 1. Do it. 😂

  21. They need to blow it up so badly. Everyone players included can see the writing on the wall. Everyone except masai I guess.

  22. etlecomtedeblaine

Our players don’t have the best sense of security because they’re constantly in trade talks, so they play for their own reasons to get better contracts (I don’t blame them for doing this).

Losing Nick Nurse was a huge blow to leadership. Doing a massive trade like this on a day where you’re playing a pumped up Pistons team was a horrible move by the Raptors FO.

From a Raptors fan, congrats to the Pistons as you guys have been playing your heart out.

  23. dizzymidget44

What losing to the pistons does to a mother fucker

  24. nicklePie

This isn’t anything new. Nobody wants to play on the raptors. Their all time franchise guy forced his way out

  25. maliciousmonkee

Schroder is beaking and he’s not even starter-worthy. I hope IQ gets his minutes and that we can trade him to some contender who needs a solid backup guard.
