This is MASSIVE….

Zack LaVine has been featured once again in the trade rumor mill and this time it pits him going to the Golden State Warriors although the trade pieces coming back are very very good unlike the demard de rozan trade which sent him there that we talked about earlier this

One gives us a lot more value I’m your host Joey Mercer this is another episode of bulls digest and uh before we get started there today I just want to say that about 88% of you that watch these videos are not subscribed so if you aren’t already subscribed to

The channel make sure to go down below hit the Subscribe button turn on the bell for notifications and every time we upload you’ll be notified and you can stay up to date with the team we all know and love here the Chicago Bulls so without further Ado let’s get into the

Topic of today and that is of course LaVine to the Warriors so we’ve heard some Rumblings in the past but didn’t really touch on too much of LaVine being traded to the Warriors we talked about dear being traded there in a three team deal with the Detroit Pistons but we

Haven’t touched so much on Zack LaVine we’ve talked about Caruso going to the Warriors but still no Zack LaVine so that’s what we’re going to touch on this video and the article that I found was on heavy.com and was very interesting to me and I’m going to give my take on that

Here now as we start the article it was titled propos Bulls blockbuster trade L $9 million Championship Duo that’s an interesting way to phrase it uh for sure when you look about the length of contracts between two players that could be a solid deal or it could be very bad

In this case I think it’s a gamble that we might want to take the article starts out by saying the Chicago Bulls have shown they have the bones of a competitive team though some problem areas still arise from time to time they could be right for a big trade though

Unlike coming into the season or even just a few weeks ago when all seemed lost a trade adding talent to this roster could be a more palpable option than it initially seemed on the other side the Golden State Warriors are sitting 11th in the tough Western Conference they too could be due for

Roster makeover so that happens a lot of the time with the Golden State Warriors they always want to be a winning team ever since they started in that 20145 season when they won the championship there they haven’t wed to go into a rebuild mode at all they had that one

Season where they had a lot of injuries plagued them where they were really poor but every other year they try to compete regardless if they have the team or the tools to do so and right now they’re starting Brandon psky who has been solid but I don’t think he’s quite a starting

Caliber player just yet in his young NBA career next thing we saw was just how drastic of a measure either team is willing to take is unclear still but trade rumors surround both teams that leaves open the possibility they come together on a deal that could reverberate across the entire league so

Yeah I mean this could affect a lot of things both teams just on the outside looking in the west is far tougher than the East this season but nonetheless both teams are just on the verge of making a playin spot or making just a solid dent in the playoffs and it seems

Like neither one of them wants to do a full rebuild right now so maybe that’s the direction they should be going in next thing we saw was the actual trade so that is the Bulls get on the top there Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins and the Warriors get Zack LaVine Javon

Carter and a 20128 first I think the value is actually there I think this makes I think this makes a lot of sense um when you look at it Wiggins is struggling this year but he was an Allstar not too long ago Draymond Green obviously a great facilitator can’t

Really score the ball but he gets everything else done on the court for you he’s had a lot of issues on the court with technical fouls and such in the past and is currently out after the punch so to speak to Yousef nerkish I mean that was just a full-on swing but

He’s still a great basketball player if he can be levelheaded and be with the bull system I think that that would really help him stay in the league and perform at a top level as well giving up LaVine of course I mean I’ve talked about it we want to get value back for

Him because he is still a former two-time Allstar a great scoring option and considered a star in the Bulls organization Javon Carter has kind of not been that great so moving him along this trade would be fine I could see him fitting on the Warriors however if they

Were looking to either move on from Chris Paul or run some small ball lineups with Javon Carter as a catch and shoot guy as he’s very good off the catch and shoot the 2028 first round pick seems to be like it would be unprotected to make up that value that

Javon Carter you’re losing there and getting Wiggins back for him and I think it could be a solid trade for both teams if they were just looking to shake things up the Warriors starting Brandon pky right now is not ideal and getting Zack LaVine in there for some much

Needed extra offense to help the load with Steph Curry as Klay Thompson has really digressed seems like a solid idea aidea next thing we saw was this package offers the Warriors a chance to get younger and improve their three-point shooting the Bulls meanwhile could lean into their defensive identity with

Championship level players the only thing I don’t like about this de is the fact that we do need some three-point shooting right now but aren’t getting it back however there’s always another deal that can be made if we can make another small deal to acquire a player with

Three-point shooting like a Luke Canard for example who has struggled so this year but might just need a different look that could be a guy we could get for very low uh trade value and could really help us and bring high value to the team Off the Bench that’s something

We could do if we were to make this trade of course the next thing we saw said Green’s defensive impact is undeniable the four-time allstar and Champion is an eight-time all defensive selection L the league and Steels in 2016 177 and was the defensive player of

The year in the same season so yeah obviously his resume speaks for itself Draymond he’s never a guy that’s going to put up a lot of points but he is a guy that can get it done everywhere else for you for sure he’s even had some solid three-point shooting Seasons which

Not a lot of people talk about around that same time he won de next thing said by’s offense has returned to an extent this season green is averaging 9.7 points His Highest Merk since the 20178 season while shooting a career best 42.9% from the on the arc and 83.3% at

The free throw line the 30 3-year-old is currently serving a suspension for punching Phoenix Sun Center use of nurkic on December 12th he’s expected to return in the first week of January per ESPN’s Adrien wovi on December 25th that is around the same time the Bulls could

Get LaVine back from his foot injury per Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report on December 18th so nice to see there the timeline really makes a lot of sense for both teams having Zack LaVine come back from injury and Raymond back from suspension and if you’re going to

Swap the two players could be new look could be the right situation for both players I like the idea behind that with how it’s uh going for them in their careers right at the moment and we could still get back a very solid player albeit in a advanced stage in Draymond

Green next thing I wanted to see was it was on NBA University tweeted out interesting enough seeing the most clutch assists in the league Kobe white second in the entire league behind halberton at 14 and Draymond right there at fifth so nice to see there that both

Are really good at getting assists in the clutch and neither of them are in the most clutch turnovers in the league so yeah I mean that’s great there to see that most assists no no turnovers in the clutch so that is uh really important if you’re looking for players down the

Stretch both of them obviously can perform to set up other guys in those situations next thing we read was green is the first year of a 4-year hundred million contract with a $27.7 million player option in the final season Wiggins is in the first year of a 4-year

$109 million packed and has a $3.2 million player option he has not performed the season as he had over the last three seasons but a move to the bench over his past six appearances has seemed to help he is still young enough to be a part of the Bull’s future and

Was key to the Warriors Championship run in 2022 I mean Wiggins was so so good in 2122 I mean the rebounding the defensive prowess the room protection even in that fact was so good with his high vertical and he was an important piece and maybe he just needs a new situation and that

Situation could definitely be the Chicago Bulls next thing we saw was with lavine’s trade market non-existent and potential suitors the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors coming together on a different deal the Bulls could have to get more creative to move the remaining three years and $138 million of lavine’s

5-year $215 million contract lavine’s contract is a $49 million player option the final season coupled with his spotty injury history the Bulls could be forced into drastic measures even and that’s fair I mean paying him almost $50 million at the end of that deal when he could be injured because it has happened

A lot in the past for him is quite worrisome if you’re taking on which I think has decreased his trade value a good bit at this point next thing was Javon Carter who signed a three-year $19.5 million contract in free agency to play for his hometown would be a more

Palatable option for the Bulls to include so I mean that’s a very good deal I mean he definitely took a HomeTown discount there for sure but he hasn’t lived up to too many things with the Chicago Bulls and definitely played better when he was on the Milwaukee

Bucks but I do think included in the deal in different situation for him they could definitely see him as a solid fit on the Warriors and a player that could almost play a Gary Payton the second type role of a defensive player that can knock down shots and probably at a

Higher rate than Gary Payton this second so that is a very good fit for the Warriors there as well if they wanted to go that kind of Route I think Javon could definitely get it done up to two if he had to of course and the last

Thing we saw was it could behoove them to take the Warriors temperature on what would constitute a major foundational shift by moving green let alone adding Wiggins so it’s important to mention that the Warriors have not even talked about moving Draymond Green they’ve had him since he was drafted in 2012 and

It’s really important to mention that they have haven’t W to break up those three guys of clay Steph and Draymond at any cost they’ve moved everybody butt in uh in the years and it seems very unlikely for those guys to be moved but with all the issues that Draymond has on

The court with technicals and such I could see the Warriors front office W to be moved on from that sort of drama and the play that Wiggins had as of late is not what they’re looking for so he could also be moved in this trade if they can

  1. Well, we know GSW are willing to pay the luxury tax, unlike a certain major midwestern franchise. Draymond is a potential locker room problem, and giving up a 1st seems like a no go for the Bulls. Idk about Wiggins, given his big long term contract.

  2. This is an idiotic trade. To give up a 1st rd pick ON TOP of Zach is country stupid. Not getting Kuminga or Moody is criminal. And getting old ass Dray and overrated Wiggins GTFOH

  3. Are you insane lmao 😂. No wonder I don’t follow you. You wanna give them Zach AND first round pick for guy who is way past his prime, is a headache for the whole league and a guy who is mentally checked out? wtf is wrong with you.

  4. Hell no to Draymond! Bulls need a trade with Warriors for maybe something like Wiggins,Kuminga and a 1st rd pick for Lavine.
