Dr. Georgios-Eleftherios Katsifarakis is a Greek orthopedic and the personal doctor of Giannis. He gave an interview for a Greek news site in which he revealed interesting things about last season and something we all suspected. Giannis’s left knee was severely damaged and Mr Katsifarakis was in favor of Giannis having surgery last year and not play the full season, but the Bucks ultimately decided against it. When it was time for the playoffs, Giannis was not in good shape at all. He also revealed that there is an issue with his right knee as well that will need surgery to fix, but it’s not as urgent.
