Casuals that think the Detroit loss was one of the worst ever haven’t experienced real pain as a Raptors fan.

  1. The reverse alley oop or Paul pierce bitching us was so bad

  2. It really wasn’t that bad. Honestly any playoff elimination games feels worse. The game 7 against Boston in the bubble. The game 6 against Philly when we manage to come back from 0-3. All felt much worse

I still remember being asked to leave the arena after Brooklyn game 7 while just sitting there in shock unwilling to accept what happened

Ultimately this game doesn’t matter that much after a few months. But those other ones still haunt me

That dunk by Vince felt like a knife right through my heart. I hated him 😭😭😭

The 2 Vince game winners against the Nets hurt the most for some reason.

Especially that reverse alley. I can still see the smug look on Vince’s face hanging on the rim.

The first one was the the worst IMO, cause with how recent it was and how Carter left. We were also up by a bunch late too. Couldn’t put the game away.

What was probably a playful scuffle between Carter and Peterson resulted in the latters ejection (refs only caught Peterson responding to Carter)

I was at that game where Vince drained that buzzer beater

Lost my voice booing him so hard

That loss definitely hit harder than the pistons

The most painful moment in Raptors history, hands down.

“I don’t wanna dunk no more.”

I already forgot about the Detroit L, out of those you listed the Lebronto was 100x, that was straight up embarrassing.

Facts! This game and any other game where Vince hit the game winner against us hurt my soul! Hated Carter so much back in the day that losing to him felt like losing a must-win playoff game….

All the Vince Carter drama was a bigger nut punch. Especially how he torched us.

Sad part about the in bound alley oop game winner was I was a house party in highschool watching that game with my friend who was also a big Raps fan. What a shocking way to lose a game and of course it was Vince. The sad part comes from the fact that my friend has since passed, but also that my young children now go to that same house for daycare so I’m reminded of it every time I drop them off/pick them up and I see the tv in the same corner, but also of that friend. He would never believe that they won a championship lol.

Edit: sorry for the life story, go Raptors!

    Rudy Gay (not that guy).

Guys, why are you so upset that I smashed your car? Don’t you remember when your mom died of cancer?

Filthy casual being upset over your smashed car.

This and when the Nets wore their alternate red unis during the playoffs – during which the ACC distributed red tees for fans to wear.

Me: I remember when Vince left

    Some Gen Z-er: OLLDDD

  18. Getting destroyed by a near retired Paul Pierce (as the higher seed) is infinitely worse than the bottom tier teams playing desperately for a regular season win.

  19. Legitimately just another loss for us, makes no difference in the grande scheme of things. Some of us know off the top the last 28 game streak was held by Philly… does anyone know without looking it up who they lost to to break the streak?? That’s all I’m saying. NBA media/ social media overhype. The fact they’re really bad and we lost to them is a bigger concern to me than snapping some streak.
