  1. I honestly do feel bad for our Piston brethren – we started our rebuild at the same time and have both been historically awful for 3 seasons, but we really look like we’ve turned a corner and they’re ready to tear it all down and start again. They may be another 4 years away.

I can’t fathom what was going on with Monty and Silas, the Pistons lobbed the ball into the first row of the sideline TWICE and they didn’t stand up, didn’t lecture the guys, didn’t even at least call a timeout. They’ve definitely checked out this season already, and I’ll be surprised if they’re there next season.

Jam Whitmore is legit, so good at using his body on drives, his hopstep is elite as well. He will get his shot next year. Shoutout Jalen and Amen as well, glad to see them both get their confidence up

  2. Few_Mulberry5372

    Sengun is a superstar

    Green is turning it around

    Amen is a future superstar

    Slam Whitmore is him

    Jabari and Tari are dawgs

Best team to ever do it

  3. manofconviction

Aww they seem so happy to see Silas. Man was a terrible coach but obviously a great dude.

  4. Sc0rch1ngDr4g0n

The Rockets adjusted to switch Duren off Sengun, and get Sengun driving with momentum to draw fouls on Duren. As soon as Duren sits, Sengun goes on a crazy scoring run and helps the other team get good shots. He was got 20 points and like 3 assists in that 1 quarter, being the single biggest part of that 47-25 blowout in the quarter.

    He is the engine.

  5. GatorsareStrong

Pistons should use Sasser more. He seems like a good asset.

  6. LorelessFrog

12/6 for Amen, and he played 3 more minutes than Fred. We defintely have something special in Amen

  7. AdmirableRise3758

Nothing like playing the detroit pistons to make you love watching basketball again

  8. StrawHatRetro

Our young core has to be one of the most exciting in the league. All of our young pieces balled out albeit Jabari who’s coming off injury just played his role. Fantastic game all around. Get Sengun All NBA votes at this point. Jalen Green starting to turn it around. This is exciting times in Houston

  9. Good to see a lot of the guys go up to Silas after the game with huge smiles on their faces and hug it out. show of maturity and respect.

  10. MugiMartin

Let’s get Sengun’s family some season tickets. But seriously, great start to 2024. Happy New Year to all.

  11. Great to see Silas get some Love from the team. Bad coach for a young team great man

  12. SubstantialCategory6

    Sengun.

    Jalen getting back

Best Amen game so far. I see the vision.

    Jam or Slam Whitmore?

Better game from Tate (but still too much Tate).

    Jock-itch with a Snell.

  13. kookie2008

Cam Whitmore would go first in next year’s draft. Change my mind

  14. I am surprised they let Smith play, would have figured we give him another few days to recover. But he played well, so hopefully he and Eason are going to be ok going down the stretch.

  15. warrior_in_a_garden_

Watched CFB playoff mostly tonight – what are the positives we are seeing of Amen? I feel like I always miss when he plays

  16. Mysterious_Medium_40

People told me Cade was all-star level, even rookie Amen was far better than him

  17. WuziMuzik

I’m glad they blew them out enough udoka finally let Cam play. And is slowly easing his fear of offense. But udoka is too defensive minded. He needs to stop forcing vets in, and let the offensive players get their rhythm and reps. On nights like tonight and last game FVV needs to sit first. And situations like that last quarter cam needs to come in sooner. Especially with brooks out. Cam’s body and scoring ability is reason enough alone to play him over Bullock when they don’t need veteran clean play.
