I had so much pregame optimism. We got absolutely cooked. Was excited to see Luka Kyrie and Exum start together. One gets injured, one was hobbling from minute 1 and the other has only just come back.

Have to credit the Jazz too. They looks so different in contrast to the masterpiece in dogshit performance last time round.

Guess it was our turn for the masterpiece in dogshit

  2. This team just dosent seem able to win games when Luka is hurt or off. Kyrie, at some point, has to step up consistently when that happens because he has failed to do so this year being way too passive. Came alive in the 4th but too late, he has not been good this season as a co-star dont matter what people say.

Defense was awful anyways, Luka couldnt move because he was hurt, but everyone else was also dogshit. Lively got owned by Kessler and Collins on the paint and Grant was constantly getting blown by.

PD: Hardy was decent tonight, silver lining I guess.

  3. DennisSmithJrIsMyGod

What the hell happened. I miss one game and we get fucked

  4. Reddit-on-Reddit

We either look halfway competent as a team or look like a blind wheelchair basketball team playing together for the first time. Thereā€™s just no in between.(Apologies in advance to my blind wheelchair basketball playing homies) Also 11 4th quarter pointsā€¦LOL

  5. misbrichi

90 point swing between our last game against Utah and tonight

  6. Felipernani

something really needs to change. yes, it was a horrible game by everyone and it happens, but this team has very predictable problems and it all starts with the coach.

  7. FireFlyz351

Well that sucked we didn’t come to play and some weird injuries. hopefully Exum’s heel isn’t too big of a deal.

  8. K1ngCrimsn

Wolves, Nuggets, OKC, Clippers, Kings are locks for the playoffs. This leaves 3 spots for us, LA, GSW, Suns, Pels & Houston (a huge maybe but also the Grizzlies), & looking to our schedule & the fact that we only got 5/6 nba caliber players on our roster, things aren’t looking good

  9. johndogerty

Didnā€™t watch the game just saw the stats, was Exum injured ?

  10. Team was prob partying last night lol. Throw this one out and move on

  11. StefonDiggsHS

    team has gone soft.

    this is unacceptable

i dont care if it was an off shooting night. we played stupid, soft and didnt adapt to anything. It looked like last years team. This is not okay and I am so fucking tired of making excuses.

  12. Jordan Clarkson is just trying to play himself out of Utah

  13. ExcellentJuice4729

How did our 6ā€™1 guard out rebound everybody else on our team, coming back from a heel contusion? Tonight was some serious bad vibes. I think some guys know theyā€™re getting their names thrown around in trade rumors

  14. lilsaucy32

    – Luka on defense a lot of the time is unbearable. The nonexistent effort and focus is comical.

    – THJ played today like he was told he will be getting traded.

    – Iā€™ve been over the Josh Green project. He can go take his braindead basketball IQ and inconsistencies to some other team.

    – This Kyrie stuff where he barely shoots is getting on my nerves. The guy plays the right way on both ends. He needs to assert himself with the shots and Luka needs to do a much better job of getting him looks.

    – This team is extremely unbalanced. The lack of length physicality and rebounding is appalling. Shocking stuff the issues for the last decade are still here!

    – folks on here are absolutely crazy if they want us to wait on guys like Green OMax Hardy etc to develop before making moves. We need to 2+ trades ASAP. I donā€™t want to think of what happens to this organization if we miss the playoffs again.

  15. MFFL12_17

Mavs underestimated this Jazz team. Plus off night for everybody except Hardy. Need to win seven games now.

  16. VisionDFW

Mavs looked like they got proper drunk last night. Recurring theme on the road.

  17. Luka looked very very hurt tonight and I think he only played because Kyrie was back. He didnā€™t want to do anything but shoot 3ā€™s tonight and it showed. Wouldnā€™t be surprised if he sits the next game or so to get healthy

  18. Yet another game filled with glaring hallmarks of a poorly coached team.

  19. Historical_Chip_2706

Go 5-2 on homestead and nobody will remember tonight.

Teammates have to hate playing with Hardy – he legit shoots every time he has the ball.

Williams is broken which is worse than just broke. Also new Williams kid is 5ā€™3ā€ and 120 lbs

  20. SteeltownCaps

Hardaway and Williams 0-10 deep šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

  21. LordClive88

This team is such a roller coaster. You really never know what youā€™re going to get. Fantastic win against the Warriors, followed by what felt like the ugliest game we have played in years. Genuinely pitiful on both ends.

Grant Williams is a disaster at the moment. Has fallen so hard since his first 10 games. Luka spamming step backs was sickening. If youā€™re hurt just use the other four guys on the court or get off. Josh Green straight back into his own head, blowing rotations and refusing to shoot. This game was the worst of what Hardaway can be produce.

  22. Putrid_Ad_2256

The Mavs definitely didn’t look like a playoff team today.

  23. Silent_Ganache8924

Such a stark contrast from last weeks game I canā€™t help but wonder what happened.

I mean fuck they put up a better fight against the Timberwolves

  24. I wasn’t sure about Grant Williams, wanted to wait and see if he’d prove me wrong. Now he proved me he’s a horrible basketball player all around. Can’t understand how we gave him 45 million dollars. Trade that mf anywhere, he’s not helping us with anything

  25. Shoutout Kidd for playing injured players including the franchise player

  26. not so worried about this single game, I think it’s just one of those nights when shit gets out of hand. wasn’t quite as bad as the scoreboard makes it look.

but I am worried about Luka’s lingering injury. he didn’t look like himself tonight. not just that he missed a lot of shots but that he was settling a lot and looked even slower than his usual self.

still somehow got 14 assists, but it’s funny I’ve seen nights where he was looking like a much more effective playmaker and only had like 8 assists. they definitely don’t tell the whole story.

  27. PrinceofEden23

This team sucks ass so bad. People keep ignoring the fact even with everyone healthy, unless Luka drops 40+ we ain’t winning any games. Seriously go look back at our games we’ve won this season and look at how many points and minutes Luka has and look closely at the teams we’ve played against and who was playing. We’re paper tigers.

  28. whitefang0824

That one Josh Green fan being excited to post that apology form after literally one good game

    LMFAO

  29. iAmBaTmAn1388

I didnā€™t have fun watching this one. Nothing positive to take from it

  30. highfalutinman

I never want to see another three guard lineup with Grant Williams at center ever again. That’s just begging to be completely destroyed everywhere.

  31. No-Test6484

Grant Williams sucks. Iā€™m not even a mavs fan and this dude stinks it up a whole lot. Green is mid also. Hardy needs more mins as well.

  32. midgetporn2

Losing to lower seeded teams will hurt Luka’s chances of winning mvp

  33. Flimsy-Trust-2821

Luka needs to get some tips and tricks from the older foxes in NBA on how to recoup after a night out. Nonetheless, this team needs to learn to handle a Luka off night, they were beyond shit, all of them

  34. dragonwhale

I do not understand why Kidd lets Luka play when he has such horrible energy. It infects the team. The whole ass team started to sulk and look dejected out there.

How the hell does Luka not realize that the main guy on a team can’t under no circumstances be putting his head down, ESPECIALLY NOT THIS MUCH. I swear, does this dude not have a single mentor? It’s like he’s taking a piss out there with how much he sulks.

Is he trying to be the first bitch to take a team to a championship?? Cause it ain’t happening. Stop being a bitch please.

  35. HarrisonGod

Very big buzzkill loss of the season. Luka just didnā€™t look right, hell the entire team didnā€™t look right. Exum got hurt, and Luka might be hurt.

  36. frankenbeans2

Kidd must enjoy lubing his butthole and getting rammed as thatā€™s exactly how he coaches this team.

  37. Yeah we need to be aggressive and make a move, yikes

  38. devilmaskrascal

The weird thing is Utah also shot like crap. Also their starters outside of Fontecchio weren’t really the guys who cooked us. Olynyk, Kessler, George and Clarkson murdered us.
