I really felt the lack of Toumani full court presses this game

Here are some of my thoughts for the game:
Positives:
* Moses looked pretty good to start the game with some good hustle, but I still don’t like how he refuses to leave the paint on defense which gives up all sorts of open jumpers. Unfortunately in the second half Moses went back to normal Moses – it’s SO hard to watch him sometimes. * Scoot looked great to start the game and looked very much under control. I also like how disciplined he is off the ball on defense – he’s usually making the right rotations and doesn’t frequently get lost off the ball. Great to see from a rookie. The finishing isn’t there, but he is getting separation and generating open shots which is a notable improvement from where he was in the beginning of the season. * Badji looked generally good in space, but really struggled against Nurk. His role is very limited and he’s a little bit raw, but his insane athleticism and length lets him recover where any other player would be completely burnt. But it’s extremely rare to see a 7’1 center with his combination of fluidity, length, and explosiveness and badji certainly knows how to use them all. Also, he ERASES dudes with his screens, which is…something some of our other centers could learn to do. * Thought Murray had a nice couple shifts. He was basically invisible offensively (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing), had a nice putback, had a passing lane steal, and drew a charge. And he generally stayed in front of his guy on defense, which was nice.
Negatives:
* Really missed Ant today – the offense looked completely horrible and nobody could shoot. * Sharpe looked extremely rusty, and wasn’t really impactful on either end of the court. It’s his first game back, but he did not look 100% today. His shot looked off, he didn’t really attack the rim, and he had several really bad looking moments off the ball on defense. Hopefully he looks better next game, but today was not good. * Brogdon as a primary ballhandler: he just dribbles the ball SO much and it really kills the flow of the offense. He does a lot of good things for this team, but man watching him play PG and orchestrate the offense is pretty ugly. * Grant as a primary scorer: he plays super well off the catch – he’s great at catch and shoot and attacking closeouts. He’s not bad as a secondary or tertiary option either – he is definitely capable of taking advantage of mismatches. But when you ask him to be a primary creator and go to direct ISOs and postups like we did today, he just doesn’t read the floor well enough to run an offense through that. * Maybe just personal preference, but it feels like a lot of Brooke’s sideline segments got replaced by Haberstroh, and I’m not a fan. I like Brooke and her segments are usually interesting and give us an insight into the players off the court.

It’s starting to feel like we won’t make the playoffs.

17/3/6 to go with 2blk is and 1 steal, a decent game from Scoot. He looks so much more comfortable, team didn’t do him any favours today.
Not worried about the efficiency at all this season
Game was awful, no one was good. Move on to the next one and hope Sharpe gets some of the rust off

When Chauncey didn’t challenge that bogus basket interference you just knew the game was going to unravel.

Why didn’t Sharpe start? And why’d he only play 18 minutes? Did he get hurt?
noiseeeeeeeeee
WE NEED OUR ACTUAL STARTERS BACK 😭
SHAE NEEDS TO LOCK IN
TRY A 3 GUARD LINE UP, OR START SCOOT! HES READY

I had the Phoenix announcers and dear god, how is that allowed to continue?? They were both so droll and emotionless. The older sounding one is easily the worse of the two, just droned on like an old bitch.
They must be on the list of worst in the league.

This road trip is gonna be great for draft standing

Sharpe was truly terrible on both sides of the ball tonight. He looked asleep. This was not the star-in-waiting we need
