Who cares? Like ok we were wrong I guess? Itā€™s time to move?

  2. ThaEternalLearner

The Lakersā€™ main problem is that AD is the only two way player on the team. So every lineup either has enough offense but not enough defense or itā€™s the other way around. Firing the coach wonā€™t fix that problem.

This sub canā€™t be trusted. Just how the internet works buddy.

  4. Creative_Category_21

What I hate more than having Ham as the coach, is that guys like Nurse and Quin just recently changed teams too, wish we could’ve ended up with one of them

  5. lakerconvert

Donā€™t really give a shit what this sub said when he was hired. Heā€™s a horrible coach

  6. NotGonnaGetCaught

Everyone was just happy it wasn’t Mark Jackson or Doc Rivers like it was rumored šŸ˜‚

  7. kanekikochaboggy

This roster will become a casualty of Hams incompetence.

Please help me understand why yall love Quinn Snyder so much??? What has he done?

Edit: while youā€™re downvoting me Iā€™ll ask againā€¦why do yall love Quinn Snyder so much? Just please explain it to me..

  9. gratitudeisbs

Nah I always thought it was incredibly dumb to hire a rookie coach on what should be a championship teamā€¦

  10. Physical-Lie-345

I was on the Vogel train back then but at this point the lack of experience shows. These are the same people that wanted KCP, Kuz,D Green etc gone.

  11. niknokseyer

TBH, Lakers were hoping for a good rookie coach hire like Ime Udoka. Sadly that wasnā€™t the case.

  12. Should just do one when KCP, kuzma etc were traded.

If there’s something that you need to know about this sub, it’s that the consensus is wrong 99% of the time.

“Gabe Vincent is such a good signing ! He is an upgrade over Dennis !” “We won free agency !” “We’re the deepest team in the league !”

  14. de_Mysterious

People weren’t aware of how terrible a coach can be back then. No one expected Ham to coach like a 5yr old who has never watched basketball before

  15. thinlion01

They were excited for his potential that he did not live up to.

  16. TheWonderfulLife

Iā€™ve hated him from minute one. Leave me out of this.

  17. shoefly72

I was glad we didnā€™t fuck up and hire Mark Jackson like some of the rumors were saying. Little did I know Ham is just as badā€¦

  18. Js_On_My_Yeet

I’ll admit, I was one of the ones who was excited, because he played for a championship organization. Led me to believe he has some experience coaching on both sides of the floor. But this game not even fun anymore with him at the helm. As most people have said we’re only winning despite him.

  19. BarelyContainedChaos

I hate doom and gloom posts. Aren’t they against the subs rules? The slightest injury leaves us fucked. Is that coaches fault?

  20. people are always going to be optimistic with change… same as the russ trade but if anybody thought honestly you could see both were highly likely to fail

  21. Danatomatowhite

the problem is that people like giannis were clamoring and praising him as a brilliant mind but being a head coach is different and pockets need to go back to assistant head coach

  22. Groundbreaking_Neat5

This shouldn’t even be a Lakers reddit anymore 92% of the posts are fire ham the same coach that took us to the Western conference finals 6 months ago and just won the in season tournament so he’s doing something right blame him all u want for his substitutions the bottom line is it’s on The players how many games so far have we seen in the first 34 where the Lakers just give absolutely no effort many that’s not on Ham these are grown ass men paid to play at the highest level and represent The purple and gold .

  23. LoveTheHustleBud

I remember being downvoted for criticizing the decision to hire a rookie coach in a win-now season before we hired him

Biggest takeaway from that thread is how many people are saying ā€œLebron got his guyā€.

  24. DickHammerr

I fought the good fight and felt he was a big risk

  25. EnzBlade88

I mean, it was seen as a positive move. Yeah. Doesn’t change the fact that as we saw him coach, we saw his weaknesses (and his strengths) and eventually decided he cannot be trusted.

Would be kind of sick if they loved him then and still love him now.
