Uh scoot so just your thoughts on the game tonight obviously a pretty good first quarter kind of lost lost touch in the second quarter yeah um I just been sitt here thinking about it the whole time honestly so I think our defensive intensity just just continued to fall off honestly but um

Especially in after the first quarter um like I let up a back cut um I just know my my defensive focus wasn’t there um at times tonight but it was there you know sometimes but that’s how the game is you know it’s a game of runs and um I think

Son just won that battle runs um we’ve talked a bit quite a bit lately about kind of the way you’ve been playing I know in losses you don’t really like to talk focus on kind of what you’ve done individually but um it it does seem like things are coming together for you

Pretty quickly but well sure but I I know even more in wins or in losses I you’re wins guys yeah um I mean I’m just doing what I should be doing honestly um my job on this team is very specific push the pace um continue to just just

Learn on defense so just continue to use my dog mentality that I got on defense and and attack the pain and spray out and you know just make sure I’m taking the right shots and feeding my teammates as well so um that’s just what I’m doing

And and it’s just my team H shots um I’m hitting my little shots that I usually hit so it’s I think the game is going to continue to slow down for me as as I continue to to get better repetition like I keep telling you repetition it

Comes with rep so uh defensively you talked about kind of the intensity how would you say you guys are doing like being connected on defensive I think I think at times it’s like man we could be the best defensive team in the NBA and then at times it’s like we’re a whole

Different team um I think you know R all the coaches they they always you know before we came out here at practice it was find consistency and I think that’s what we have to do and I think we will very soon and I think um I think we’re

Going to look really really good especially when we get all our players back and as they continue to you know get better for us and I think we’ll be very solid I can only imagine it helps for you getting comfortable and knowing that jont is going to be supporting you and

The confidence in you and if you make a mistake or two of them then he’s still going to let you play and figure it out so I imagine that’s yeah honestly he like that’s kind of our connection um but I just got to continue to stay confident um when I do make mistakes

Know I know in the back of my head I’m like messed up don’t worry about it next one next place I think that’s where I grew as a as a basketball player just focus on our next play um and then just lessening my my my turnovers and little

Things that that can cause um you know a bucket on the other end or whatever so what what would you attribute maybe to your dropping turnovers cuz it seems like they have gone down quite a bit um just me being aggressive um I think before I was just more passive and when

I’m aggressive I open up shots from my teammates as well so I just got to continue to keep getting downhill and um use my speed use my use my superpowers um and and I think it just open up for everybody
