Any chance the Knicks are preparing to make a deal for Mitchell this season? Mitchell, Brunson and OG is a trio that could make it a bit more interesting in the East to say the least.
This is why SAS is a talking head on TV and not in an NBA front office. Last season, he showed that his judgement on trades and transactions involving the Knicks is not only flawed but utterly ridiculous. This is the same guy that said we should have mortgage our whole team for Donovan Mitchell. He’s good he’s not moving the needle.
Most REAL Knick fans were happy the Mitchell trade was not done and understood why that trade wasn’t done. I appreciate so far the competence the Knicks front office is showing. The Knicks are being prudent and not irrationally making moves simply because of a big name. SAS’s basketball acumen stinks lately especially when it comes to the Knicks.
