Defenders are going to be trying to close out on shooters because that’s what most players are trying to do. With good timing, you can get a lot of easy buckets. Minnesota is a good defensive team and he was still getting easy points.

It’s called a scheme. The NBA has decided they’re going to guard Brunson with taller, athletic guards. Been the case for 5-7 games. Interesting philosophy, because when Brunson beats these guards it’s usually an easy bucket.
