Back with another Wizards video after like a month forgive me forgive me um there’s been a lot going on I guess since well not really not really there’s been a decent amount going on with the Wizards since the last time I’ve uploaded uh got a few more wins you know

That’s a good thing that’s a good thing I got a few more wins but I really want to talk about some of the players you know what’s the future of some of the guys on the w i just want have a little chat with you guys nothing too specific

But uh I want to start off on guys who I’ve been impressed with this season you know as we get into winter February towards the trade deadline and whatnot there’s been some guys that I’ve really been impressed with um as the season has gone on and I want to start the list

With tus Jones tus Jones as of late has been playing a tremendous brand basketball for the Washington Wizards uh I would like to say that he’s been better than Monte Morris last season and that’s no shot at Monte I think tus Jones has done a terrific job at Point

Guarding this team if tus Jones was just I guess 6′ one 6’4 I should say you know it’d be a terrific and beautiful thing but his only downside obviously he’s a little smaller so um defensively a core and along with Jordan P defensively that’s not the best

Even though the team as a whole has you know given some Better Effort defensively not all the time but still but as far as just the offensive side of things facilitating scoring all of that I mean tyus Jones has done a terrific job I’m really impressed I think he’s a guy

Who is one of the best trade pieces on the team at first it was KY kosma tus Jones he can contribute man the Wizards have a few guys who can really contribute on a championship level team and tyus Jones is one of them he’s really one of them whether that’s in uh

A backup role maybe they want to throw him in as a starter or some obviously feeling in as a spot starter tus Jones has been and I’m not even talking about numbers everybody I’m talking about I’m just going off of the eye test of what I’ve seen you guys know the numbers you

Guys have seen the numbers but as of late tyus Jones is defin defitely deserving of a shout out he’s been playing really good ball for the Washington Wizards and I think he’s going to be a really nice piece on a contending team assuming the Wizards move on from him this season so shout

Out to tyus Jones I don’t know if he stays with the Wizards past the deadline but he’s been doing a really good job so shout out to him the next guy I want to talk about is the rookie uh balow kabali I know lately he’s kind of slowed down you

Know he hasn’t really getting that many more shots attempts off but as far as the full season he’s been a really nice bright light in a dim season um and that’s what you really like to see from your top 10 pick uh balow kabali defensively he’s coming as

Advertised his length has been effective blocking shots his athleticism has been really good to see um his three-point shooting has been way better than advertised and I’m pretty sure has blown a lot of people expectations out of the waters you know I know he’s shooting around I think it’s around 40 something

Per still I don’t have the numbers in front of my face but I believe what I was seeing was around 40 something per from balow so the Frenchman the young Frenchman has been doing a tremendous job in his rookie season and coming into a year a season an offseason where the

Wizards could very well have either the number one number two number three pick hopefully unless they get screwed by the lottery um like last year year when they could have got wimi but I digress uh this is the type of first round pick that you like to see you know

He’s the youngest if not I think he’s the youngest player in the NBA currently but he’s very effective and he’s getting minutes man now there’s discourse along wizard social media you know among the fans on his role and he should have a bigger role and then there’s another

Group of fans saying though he has to be a little bit more aggressive you know and take some more shots and demand the ball a little bit more as well so you know it comes along with that rookie territory in a long grueling season um

Filled with ups and downs and a lot of Downs in the Wizards case but for the most part man he’s been terrific he he’s been really terrific and that’s what you want to see from the new Will Dawkins era Michael Winger era especially going into this era where the Wizards are

Going to have a lot of top five maybe top three picks and coming into a draft where there’s no de facto number one picked even number two picked there’s no deao names there’s no oh there there’s no Cooper flag in this draft like next season you know so that’s what you want

To see out of your first round pick in the first year of a new front office it gives you confidence going into next year’s draft that they’ll find the right guy out of all these guys who hasn’t really taken off with the number one pick status so balow kabali shout out

He’s been ter rrific as a rookie really impressive love what I’m seeing out of him uh thirdly I want to give out give a shout out to Cory kissper uh I think Cory kissper has been really good he’s been playing really good ball off of the bench I’m shooting the ball well

Obviously doing the things he usually does cutting to the basket um obviously defensively isn’t defensively you know it’s not a strong suit that’s not his calling car we all know that um but as a shooter he’s been improving as a score all around score not just coming off of screens and

Dribble handall what this he’s been scoring in a lot of different ways and he’s been very effective as a scorer Off the Bench and he’s been doing a really good job as he goes into I think what is this his third year um because he wasn’t

A rookie last year I think this is his third season right now um Cory kisper I think is another guy where if the front office is not really seeing him as a part of the future as we go into this new era Cori hisper is a guy who can

Contribute to a lot of really good teams he can give a good team good minutes off the bench another shooter a guy who isn’t strictly a three-point shooter he’s really good off the ball cuts to the basket has good shot IQ gets a little going off the dribble as well can

Score off the dribble here and there KY kisper I think is another underrated trade piece that the Wizards have man he he can help a really good basketball team come playoff time man adding another bucket and another shooter to that roster so Cory kisper third shout

Out goes to him really love what he’s been doing um k kosma i I think gets a shout out here too I think he’s been really solid he’s been consistent for the most part of the season one of the most consistent Wizards on the team and you would hope

To expect that as a guy who’s going to take majority of the shots a guy who’s looked at as the leader upon this team who knows if he’s here I don’t think he gets traded this season who knows that if he gets traded next season he’s a

Little up there in age he’s around what 28 or something like that right now so he doesn’t really fit the mode of what the Wizards are trying to do long term so I could easily see him with a contract that descends in money as the years goes on so other teams will look

Look at that as an attractive contract so I can see him getting traded and moved to another team a contending team maybe a younger team looking for vetan leadership um who are who is trying to contend similarly to how the Rockets got van bleet and Dylan Brooks this season

Um to add on to that young team so honorable mention goes out to KY kosma for sure uh disappointments quick disappointments not going to go on too long this video is already around eight minutes disappointments just quick quick thoughts uh I’d say even though he’s getting it together as of late I’d say

Jordan p uh right now he’s been getting it together playing a little better as of late but the biggest thing for him in my opinion is not even really the effort it’s just the shot selection man like if you watch that Warriors game I get it high motion but it is just it’s

Some shots that are open that are very far and I think they’re open for a reason that doesn’t mean you have to take them the shot selection I I would say is the biggest thing for Jordan P right now just a little a little bit of

That shot selection IQ um he’s at his best with the ball in his hands but I don’t see him as a fulltime point guard I definitely think he works next to a guy like a tius Jones but maybe or you maybe you can run him at the one but you

Do face turnovers potential turnovers and that’s going to be a little annoying as opposed to having them as a two next a guy like tus who’s a little Smarter with the ball doesn’t turn the ball over as much um but I think Jordan p is figuring it out right now is he a

Longterm piece to this team who knows I can’t answer that he could be moved next year year after that who knows he could still potentially be moved I have no idea but uh disappointment I would say number one for me number two Johnny Davis um Johnny Davis is at a point

Where he’s healthy and he still can’t get playing time he can’t beat out kissper he can’t beat out Landry shamut he’s just buried on the bench right now and I don’t think think the new front office sees him as a guy that they want to invest any real time into cuz if they

Did they would be playing him he’s not playing I think he’s a guy who may be a throw in in a trade or something like that for a team who feel like maybe I don’t know they can rebuild him up I have no idea but Johnny Davis definitely

Coming into a big year for himself um has been disappointing so um those are my my biggest disappointments right now with the team but also my big Thumbs Up Guys my biggest you know surprises not even really surprises but guys I’ve been impressed with over the season so um
