Report REVEALS NBA Executives GRILLING Masai Ujiri for Blockbuster Trade…

After making a blockbuster trade that has completely reinvigorated Toronto Raptor fans MSU Jerry has actually been taking some heat no not really from raptor fans no not from a lot of Nicks fans even though there’s some trolls going around roasting everyone who they can but no NBA Executives a couple front

Office execs have actually been grilling MSU Jerry particularly for acquiring RJ Barrett in this deal so we’re going to break down the disrespect that has been going on in these latest reports and things along those lines in this video because frankly I think it is madness

And I think it needs to be combed out here on the internet on the YouTube sphere whatever the heck this is but before we dive into that folks again want to thank everyone who subscribed to the channel as of late and cranking out all the vids hit that 31,000 subscriber

Mark and still over half of our viewers are not subscribed to the channel so it mean the world to me if you guys you want to stay up to date with all of the latest Toronto Raptors news to hit that subscribe button but let’s dive into what’s going on here because again if

You’ve been living under a rock the Raptors Trad away ogan anobi precious atua and Malachi Flynn in return for RJ Barrett as well as Emanuel quickly and this deal has been well regarded from both fan bases both fan bases feel like they’ve gotten a steal feel like it’s

Been a nice sort of acquisition for both sides it might be one of those trades that are win-win even though I like having fun with titles and roasting Chris over Nick’s digest about how the Toronto Raptors fleeced the New York Knicks but overall at least from the Toronto Raptor side of things the

Toronto Raptor perspective it looks like a major W for MSU Jerry and what it was able this move was able to do to rebalance the roster get us some more speed guard depth without giving up all the valuable aspects that OG anobi provides to this team I mean RJ quickly

Proved last night that they’re going to be able to sort of hold their own particularly on the point of attack defense you know with on ball coverage at the guard position so you know I broke down a lot of this stuff in recent vid so what’s really going on what’s new

With this trade discussions well MSU Jerry obviously viously he’s been praised a lot over the past 48 Hours particularly because he’s come out of hibernation when the Toronto Raptors needed a deal to get done and you know maybe could have done this earlier maybe it wasn’t an option maybe it wasn’t

Available but MSU Jeri completely quieted doubted the the doubters and haters were appearing even I was throwing some question marks at what Messiah U Jerry has been doing over the past couple years but he at least made a move and right now it looks really good

So fans seem to be you know on his side but now reports a basically come out uh saying that this this com in um recap by Nick’s movement but Zack low is saying that he’s revealed that former New York Knicks Wing RJ Barrett’s contract was viewed as a toxic asset by some

Anonymous front office members and coaches following the trade to the Toronto Raptors I’ve always said that there’s a a Continuum of RJ Barrett optimism and pessimism so and over here on the pessimistic side he says again coming from an NBA executive he just stinks he’s a toxic asset and that’s the

Word he got thrown around yesterday in his conversations with front office people and coaches so toxic asset like you’re swallowing the contract so that’s what Zack low said you know during his podcast and frankly I think that is madness again regardless of what you think about RJ Barrett regardless of you

Think you know he’s star potential or just quality role player he is a dude that is 23 years old a super athlete that isn’t a Ben Simmons in regards to shooting the basketball is one of the best finishers in the entire NBA whether it be dunking the basketball or what we

Saw last night having players just completely bounce off him as he’s driving into the lane and be able to finish through contact get some buckets in the paints I get it some of these analytics heads and nuts look at stats like vorp and box plus minus and things

Along those lines and say hey RJ Barrett is really not that valuable of a piece and things along those lines well the Knicks had a weird roster especially quickly coming off the bench and those stats can get skewed depending on which ones you’re looking at and things there

But frankly RJ Barrett as a talent at just 23 years old has all the intangibles to potentially grow into a star even if he doesn’t even if he doesn’t take that leap with the Toronto Raptors that a lot of us were hoping he’s a guy that again

Can make some poor decisions at times but it’s just an elite bucket getter getting into that paint is a solid enough shooter to where he can’t just completely be disrespected and it’s just a calming presence it feels like out there on the court maybe that’s uh something that’ll change my mind from

You know what I’ve seen minimal play in the New York Knicks don’t watch every single New York Knicks game even though I uh what’s it called always watch the RJ Barrett highlights and now is one game with the Toronto Raptors the games we saw in Team Canada even though he can

Be you know explosive even though he can make some weird sort of drives it seems like when he sort of attacks the basket things all just slow down and he’s a player that can just get you easy shots easy buckets around the rim like guys like even Pascal seak at times it seems

He’s be spinning left right and Center you know trying to finish over and frankly Pascal seak has been remarkable especially over the past couple of weeks but RJ Barrett can just get the ball in transition and Sprint down that Court speed up the game and get some buckets

In transition in the half court he sees that mismatch he doesn’t have to go through a bag of Moves In order to get to the rim he just uses his size uses his strength and in the obviously he’s not the player level of a Jimmy Butler

But in same way Jimmy Butler just gets you those easy sort of shots you make that straight line drive players bounce off you can get that bucket at The Rim RJ Barrett gets those shots for you so even if he doesn’t develop he doesn’t take his game to the next level RJ

Barrett is a guy that is currently 23 years old again I’ll say it I’ll keep yelling it from The Mountaintop but 18 points per game four rebounds 2.4 assists and solid efficiency from the field again not crazy he’s also an elite free throw shooter which is great to see

We saw it last night the Raptors were selling free throw after free throw after free throw at the end of that game and then RJ Barrett had the ball in his hands to seal the deal and was clutch for the Toronto Raptors I mean RJ

Barrett is a guy to call a toxic asset I mean I get it he’s on a decently sized contract or 23 25 27 29 you know that’s some decently sized numbers but when you look at the Modern NBA the deals that people are getting here now at this

Point that is crazy to say that RJ Barrett is a toxic asset you could easily even if we want to go in a different direction other teams would be willing to pick up a guy that can get you easy buckets can get you 18 points per game plays solid defense you know

His athletic is Young that’s not going to be a guy at any point over this contract knock on wood that he stays healthy obviously injures can complet injuries can completely turn around anyone’s career but RJ Barrett’s not going to be a poison Bill sort of contract at any point over the course of

His Toronto Raptor career that all might be bold to some people that might be crazy at some point this contract especially with the cap rising and everything that’s going on it is flat out stupid it is flat out dumb to be roasting MSU Jerry for acquiring RJ

Barrett in a potential deal like this so that’s just my take and on top of it we got quickly and a second round pick so again those are assets on its own right that are very valuable to the Toronto Raptors but I got to back my guy RJ

Barrett on this because it’s getting disrespectful you know how he’s sort of being talked about MSI Jerry’s by some Knicks fans and now League Executives front office and coaches you know about this potential deal going down but I don’t know the Toronto Raptors last night looked really good and frankly it

Would have been a blowout against the Cleveland Cavaliers if they didn’t have guys like you slip in my name it do I don’t even register some of the three-point shooters that they were just hitting after hitting after hitting tough contested shots you know especially in the second half of last

Night’s game I mean the Raptors played really solid and have me completely pumped up to watch this team face off against Some solid competition over the next month or so so let me know what you guys think about all this Toronto Raptors news has been going on again

Subscribe to the channel if you guys haven’t already it means the world to me anyways I’m signing out cheers

The Toronto Raptors just pulled off a massive trade that has been regarded as a very positive move by the fanbase, bringing in Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett from the New York Knicks. However, a report has come out that Toronto has been taking some heat, particularly for picking up RJ Barrett’s “Toxic Contract.” Ben Rogers breaks it all down.

  1. It's probably executives that Masai has robbed in the past lol. The Knicks have always been garbage in terms of player development. I could see RJ getting better with the raptors

  2. Around the league is just Jealous they didn't get OG and send us their scraps and turds. We always get hate around the league because we actually have a competent front office and culture. Flashback 2019 fresh off of winning not even a minute after the game ended news bomb "wizards will seek to sign Masai as new FO exec…." The states and bottom feeder teams stay hating and losing! I said what I said!! None of this is new news they hate us cause they ain't us!!

  3. I’m pretty sure what Zach Lowe said was the people that are pessimistic about RJ said what he said, while there are also people optimistic about RJ (including Lowe himself). One positive thing people have said is that since RJ works hard and takes the game seriously, he’ll eventually figure things out.

  4. If you think the knicks got fleeced then you simply don't understand the situation.

I'm a knicks fan and lemme tell you. RJ is massively limited. Trust me if RJ could shoot, had a midrange game, played better defense and was better from the free throw line he'd be a knick. The bottom line is RJ has a ceiling. His only real strength offensively is around the basket and cutting to the rim. He will give you 18ppg and he'll have a few games he scores 26 or 28 but there will be so many other games where he just falls off the stat sheet and this will be moreso than the latter and RJ underperformed his contract so the knicks wanted to get that off the books.

Quickley is the real steal for the Raptors but Brunson is a knick and Quick starting at SG wasn't really a huge option because of his size so if he started for the knicks it would be at point and clearly that wouldn't happen and also he is in his contract year and the knicks are not in a position with Brunson soon to rake in that they could afford Quickley coming off a near 6th man of the year award and so instead of letting him walk for nothing the Knicks used him as a trade piece also while honoring Quick and allowing him an opportunity to start and get his money, all the while sending underperformed RJ back to Canada and off the books. These things needed to happen and I think they did right for both IQ and RJ and made the Knicks bigger and better with Anonoby and Achuwa (long depth piece)

Saying the knicks got fleeced is just ignorant of the situation but now you're not ignorant anymore because I've explained the science behind it

    Peace.

  5. I stopped the video as soon as you said RJ is one of the best finishers in the league. Really? THE LEAGUE. And you wonder why you only have 50% subscribers

  6. The 'toxic asset' comment is kind of a misnomer in these online conversations cause the context Zach was using it in was in contrast between the two extreme views of people around the league. Some call him toxic asset while others lean towards all-star caliber player. But Zach says he's leaning 68-73 percentile future all-star.

I, on the other hand consider him a player similar to late MIN/ early GSW Wiggins who, in the right circumstances, can definitely inch over that 20-point mark and be an all-star on a good team. We've seen this with Russel/ Wiggins before and pretty sure RJ has the attributes to get him there.

  7. Bro, one of the best finishers in the NBA, come on now. Not even close. A good player, yes. Isnt elite in any way. Lets not be such a homer and be realistic.

  8. The NBA executives were just giving their talent assessment of RJ.

Unfortunately, RJ never lived up to being a #3 pick.

If you watched games on TNT where coaches and players are mic’d up …..every time RJ gets the ball they yell under and left. Which means….go under the screen because they don’t respect his outside shooting and that he’s a one trick pony….he drives to his left going to the basket virtually every time.

He’s an average athlete at best and is slow with no hops.

RJ is a very good role player who will score 20 PPG…..but it will take 19 shots. We wish RJ the best.

The good news for Raptors fans is Immauel Quickley. His future, if you can retain him, is bright.

  9. "anonymous NBA front office". The word anonymous should have given it away. You can make anything up when you don't have to prove who said it.

  10. Okay , I guess that’s fair to think that. I’d like to ask these ‘executives’what they think about paying a 3 and D guy 40 million a year.

  11. Sorry but as a Knicks fan I can tell you that his defense is suspect. He doesn't move well laterally and his three-point shot is suspect as well. As a Knicks fan though I want to see him thrive and hopefully he's able to do so. But defensively he's poor and is probably one of the worst defenders in the game, and he's consistent at being inconsistent. That's the best way to describe him

  12. we only have 7 players that can be on the floor in important games!!! darko wanted to play 10 guys this season and now hes only playing 7.. we need more on the bench, 35-40 min a game for starters is unsustainable

  13. Listen, as a Knicks fan, the disrespect for RJs game only came because he isn't what they thought they were getting. They wanted an athletic wing type and RJ is more of a physical/downhill pressure guy. He's a typical slasher but in the old school mold. He's not a wow athlete so NY fell in love with his grit and toughness. IQ on the other hand is going to be a star if you let him cook. He's a 2 not a 1……that's where you guys are making the mistake late in game.

  14. This been the story for rj his whole career he will never get praised or recognized as a lot of espn have him label a bust. He’s a jack of all trades master of nothing and in today league you have to be elite in something also. Also a lot of executive are mad that Knicks got the guy without giving up a pick so now the Knicks can use all there picks to acquire that star player with a core of Brunson OG and Randle which is so un Knick like because we usually trade for old has been superstars and have no team to around them
