Sam Presti: “When we do get back to the postseason, we want it to be an arrival and not an appearance.”

That was not an enjoyable experience in the 4th quarter. Thank you Kristaps for your helpful two pointer.

this team just beat the Timberwolves, Nuggets, and Celtics in a single week. championship or bust

    What happeneddddd???

  5. TheRealBrownPudding

That game should’ve been on national television.

  6. Happy that the Celtics didn’t roll over and die down 18 with ~6 minutes left

  7. TheRealBrownPudding

Derrick White is actually so talented

  8. SmallHexagon

I never want to see Derrick White again, dude couldn’t miss.

Giddey was the biggest factor in this game to me, Celtics dared him to beat them all night and he had the best game of his season. can’t wait to see them in Boston, hopefully their shooters won’t be as comfortable in the Garden as they were tonight

    2 big things from tonight.

    1. SGA was the best player on the court by far tonight. He dictated everything.

    2. The defensive gameplan we drew up for tonight was horrendous. We tried to drop a big to the paint to stop Shai and gamble on 3’s… instead of let Shai get whatever he wanted and also gave up open 3’s.

Also, those refs sucked. Not in a anti Celtic way… just in an all around way. So many random inconsistent calls all over.

The Celtics started missing bunnies in the 3rd, allowed it to impact their defense on the other end, & then fell behind by as much as 18. They finally managed to get themselves back into a groove halfway through the 4th, but couldn’t quite finish the comeback.

Meanwhile the Thunder, despite being a very young team in a big matchup, managed to play at their own pace all game long. Chet hitting those pair of 3’s in the 4th was huge for them and SGA sliced up the defense all game long.

That was the difference tonight, and tip of the cap to OKC. They played great and didn’t let themselves get shaken despite a near comeback by the C’s.

Can’t believe this wasn’t nationally televised. Great game

  13. I cannot lie…as a neutral, I’d sign up for 7 games of that. Gg’s both sides. Fun af game. NBA fucked up big time not flexing this one to the NBAtv matchup for tonight.

  14. igonnawrecku_VGC

Great game Thunder. Wish the Celtics could’ve avoided their typical shit 3rd quarter, but the Thunder capitalized and did what they needed to do to win. Good luck the rest of the way (except when we see you at the garden), your squad is fun to watch

  15. carlos_rodz_

ik we lost, but what a defensive masterclass by tatum down the stretch

  16. imSuperman81

How is #2 in the West vs #1 in the East not on National TV?

  17. dragonrider5555

Shai was the man tonight. Giddey hit everything and Chet was clutch. Is what it is grats okc

I’ve said it before and I’ll said it again: there is no trade to make if we are gonna play like this.

The only thing this team needs is experience. Giving up a 25 point lead with 8 minutes left (similar vibes to the Dallas team) is something young, inexperienced teams do. Making a trade isn’t gonna magically make this team grow up lol. And that’s ok!

Let it ride, enjoy the process – we have The Timeline. This was an incredibly high quality game vs a very strong opponent.

  19. LuckysBestMan

GG okc. I don’t watch you a ton but you played your ass off

  20. Derrick White got OKC stressed after that corner 3 lmao

  21. Kevinlasagna207

Not having this game nationally televised was a huge missed opportunity man. Let us watch games like this instead of a million Lakers and Warriors games please
