The Milwaukee Bucks defense has been painting an ugly picture

Whats been the root of the defensive issues we’ve seen pop back up for the Milwaukee Bucks? Are the issues more on the perimeter, near the basket or both? Justin tackles that issue, previews a fifth and (hopefully) final game with the Indiana Pacers and takes your feedback

  1. Bucks had a very good rebounder in the backcourt and that person was Jrue. Now they have none. Additionally if we take consideration what you said Justin about Lopez being too far away , we can easily figure out whats going on with the rebounding this year. But that means that Lopez is useful only when he plays drop defense and nothing else and that was exactly the problem vs heat last year in the playoffs. The defense became too predictable, it was giving much space between the restricted area and the 3point line and was destroyed by a mid range shooter like Butler. You need to have a defense when you can switch sometimes. You need to have a defense with different setups. So Bucks need to acquire a defensive shooting guard in 2, sacrificing pat (preferably) which will put Malik on the bench but the bench will improve and second and most importantly TRADE LOPEZ WITH A FAST CENTER! Thats the best and only solution!

  2. I think getting Jae back is gonna be a relief. Won’t fix everything but should really help out the perimeter defense
