The Nets probably aren’t gonna trade Bridges or either Cam unless it’s for a lot more than they’re worth. They don’t have any of their own first round picks til 2028. There is absolutely no reason to tank because of that. I could see them trading DFS for draft compensation but that is just because he’s very old for their timeline.
The Nets are in one of the shittier positions of any franchise. They can’t tank and they have minimal assets for trades to improve the roster. Some of those Phoenix picks look really nice but they’re so far away it would be pretty dumb to trade them right now. Either way, trading for their best guys without giving up better players isn’t going to be easy for anybody, and I imagine it might be even worse for us after that Harden/Simmons trade.
