The Knicks traded IQ as one of the main pieces to get OG, the tall wing they’ve been searching for.

Now the starting 5 is buzzing (OG ~~+33~~+35 in 34 minutes, Hartenstein 10/20/5, Randle and Brunson masterclass).

It definitely seems they need someone to replace 75-80% of what IQ brought from the bench (whether it’s Brogdon, Tyus Jones, etc), but that was a great second half after a rough first half with all those turnovers.

Our starting lineup is fucking AMAZING. If we get the bench lineup rotation right, our team is gonna be so good.

  3. undefeated in the OG era

OG is the fucking truth brothers.

Never seen our starters play with such pace and speed and it’s what happens when you have all 5 starters being offensive threats. Monster offensive game for Randle and Brunson, they have proper spacing now and a center who can score a bit so can’t just load up on them. With Mitch’s injury history I am good with Ihart becoming our future starter, the guy is a monster on the boards and defense plus he can run the floor and has a little floater game to make our offense a lot better and faster.

Solid game from OG, still learning the offense but when he cuts he’s so big and athletic it gives us another physical guy to punish teams with. I’d like to seem him take a few more drives but hopefully that comes with more acclimation to the offense. But he’s a huge part of our defense, disrupts some possessions on his own.

Only negative is our bench, we miss IQ and need a shot creator there otherwise JB and Randle will be worn down. So hopefully we at least trade for a bench scorer.

  6. Give Hartenstein his flowers dude is playing incredibly as the main man

VIBES ARE FUCKING IMMACULATE! You know what the fuck that means! LFGK

  8. teknomatic

If this trade has unlocked regular 10+ assist games from Brunson, then it’s problems for the rest of the league

  9. yourfavoritebovine

Why did Arcidiacono wear a headband on the bench and then take it off the minute they put him in the game

  10. ucfknight92

Getting rid of RJ, itself, unlocked Brunson’s complete game.

Adding OG on top of that…yeah, this is nice.

  11. Beautiful_Cut1235

Hate how Thibs forget about DDV in the 4th and decides to keep Hart forever

  12. played some really dumb basketball in the first half, limited the turnovers in the second and blew these bums out. Great team win, Randle on another level rn

  13. Hemispheres33

Dont be so quick to dismiss Mitch because of Hartenstein’s excellent play. We need both of them. Mitch’s offensive rebounding pretty much carried our offensive rating all last season.

I’m not gay but I want to live in a log cabin in the woods with Isaiah Hartenstein. We won’t ever have sex, but there will be a simmering erotic undercurrent as I stand in the kitchen window watching him tighten his ass as he chops wood, shirtless, sweat pouring off his body. I’ll run upstairs and masturbate, the entire time forcing myself to think of women while my thoughts drift back to Isaiah. I won’t be able to climax and I’ll eventually go back downstairs, angry. Sometimes we will look across the table and catch each other’s eyes, and in that second, anything is possible, but we both deny ourselves and go back to what we were doing. One day one of us will die, and the other will bury him outside the log cabin. Then he’ll go inside, pen a brief missive to his departed friend, and commit suicide, never able to deal with life without his one true platonic love.

The addition of OG might be one of the most pivotal turning points in recent Knicks history. The transformation has been absolutely incredible, especially on defense

  16. Fast_Door

OG, IHart, Brunson and Randle, take a fucking bow. Bench needs some help fr fr.

  17. GilgeousAlxndrWalker

Cannot overstate the impact of OG, day & night difference having a player like him in that Knicks closing lineup versus Barrett (no shade to RJ).

Also Hartenstein went nuts, hope he can keep up this pace he makes so many smart decisions on the court and MAN HE HUSTLES.

Go New York Go New York Go!!

  18. chicken101

OG is a crazy defender. The Bulls couldn’t do shit against him

  19. Urban_Introvert

Did anyone’s TV freeze mid Randle interview?

  20. YanniSwagger

This starting lineup is preposterous and is destroying teams when they lock in especially in the 2nd half. Idk it’s been 2 games we look unreal. The spacing has unlocked another gear for Randle on both sides of the ball and Brunson is passing to players who can actually shoot. I fucking love this team rn

  21. NosleeptillB

Brunson and Randle will be pushing to both make the all-star break.

    OG with a team leading +35…. (0_0)

  22. ABC interviewer just referred to OG as OJ and had Randle cracking up.

  23. Fuck ESPN
    Fuck Gil arena
Fuck them niggas on IG and Twitter

Their tears of saltiness is so yummy

    Keep hating mofos

We got a team of dogs
    OG Kush got it
    Ihart you mad man
    Brunson Burner
    Randle shutting down the haters
Next is that bitch Embiid. We got you on Friday

Enjoying this win guys. Keep on rollin

  24. is there a point in trying to trade for Embiid to have him back up Hartenstein?

  25. n0-ragrets

Randle on OG- “he doesn’t force anything”
    👀👀👀

  26. YanksJetsKnicks

Is it just me, or does Randle seem noticeably happier the past few games?
