The Sacramento Kings defeated the Orlando Magic, 138-135, in double overtime. Malik Monk led the Kings with a season-high 37 points and 7 3PT FG, along with 9 assists as Keegan Murray (28 points, 12 rebounds) and Domantas Sabonis (22 points, 23 rebounds, 12 assists) totaled 50 points. Paolo Banchero totaled a career-high 43 points (6 3PT), 4 rebounds, and 5 assists as Jalen Suggs added 24 points (career-high 6 3PT), 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. The Kings improve to 20-13 as the Magic move to 19-15.
The Magic made a franchise record 25 3PT FG (25-44) tonight.
This was Sabonis’ 39th triple-double of his career and his seventh of the season.
Sabonis joins Nikola Jokic as the only players to record a 20-points, 20-rebound, 10-assist game this season.
Sabonis became the sixth player this season to record back-to-back 20-point, 15-rebound games, joining Nikola Jokic, Bam Adebayo, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Vucevic, and Anthony Davis).

    So you’re telling me I left too early for this game? After I saw Paolo Banchero lose the ball out of bounds I thought that was game so I clicked off from watching it just to find out it went into double ot because the refs apparently thought the ball went off the Kings bruh none of these teams are my teams but im lowkey mad I missed an epic ass game!

    I can NOT believe the result tonight. Paolo did all he could to put up so many points and we still lose on a road to a Sacramento team in 2 OTs who lost last night to Charlotte. I hate that Franz got hurt. I hope he gets better. And Suggs did a really good job helping out Paolo tonight too. When I look back, Sacramento should have blew Charlotte out. Well played for Sacramento. This loss Orlando received was tough offensively but ridiculous defensively. We did all we could to shoot the FGs, 3’s, and FTs and we still lost the game. Our turnovers were pitiful. Not enough rebounds and when overtime came, we decided to create a last minute rebounds in 1st OT and then decided to do absolutely nothing in 2nd OT. Paolo and Suggs did all they could. Unfortunately, we have to go to Denver this Friday and face them. And we have to win that game. Otherwise, we will need to destroy Atlanta very badly which I am very confident that Orlando will snap their losing streak against Atlanta this Sunday if we end up losing on the road to Denver on Friday night. Orlando do me favor and stop falling off and play next man up basketball! #PureMagic 🪄

    I think for the Kings they are weakest at small forward, that is the one price they need whether it be a two way or point forward. Solid rotation one of the better benches. And if you ask me they’re the 2nd best small ball team in the league.

    I just don’t know why the kings are playing like the old kings. Mike Brown needs to design a good defensive scheme. Most of the games that they played and led wind up to nothing as the opponents are able to come back .That is what happened in the charlotte Hornets game, and wind up losing in the last 45 seconds. It is frustrating to watch that game as they failed to score in the closing seconds of the game. Again, Mike Brown should noticed it by now. Barnes is nowhere to be found .

    Two ot and ONLY 10 mins worth of highlights.. I’m a Kings fan but Magic deserves more than this. They almost didn’t have anyone left on the bench to play. They played well and gave Kings a hard time until the foul calla against Magic in 4qtr. I was more impressed of Magic than Kings. When Kings was bad our bench couldn’t do what their whole bench players did tonight. It’s ridiculous. Give credits where it’s due. Not just big shot players and markets.
