[TommyBeer] Last night vs. the Knicks: DeMar DeRozan scored 2 points on 1-of-3 shooting and had zero assists when defended by OG Anunoby. DeMar DeRozan scored 26 points on 9-of-10 shooting and had four assists when defended by any other NY player.

OG had him in jail the second half. We would have had a double digit lead going into the half if he didn’t get into early foul trouble.
That is INSANE
Thibs might mess round and play OG the full 48 come playoff time.
I also don’t think derozan took a shot in the fourth quarter.
We might have to have a serious conversation on Hart

This man alters possessions by himself. There was one where he seamlessly switched onto Drummond which stopped the Bulls PnR and then came to help contest the drive on the ball handler after causing a miss.
yesterday’s win was more impressive than most thought. Bulls have been good since Lavine is out, and that team played their best ball against us.
OG’s 7’2 wingspan was on full display in the 4th. I remember a couple of possessions where the clock was winding down and his long ass arms deflected a pass/made DeRozan’s catching the ball so much more difficult. These don’t show up on the stat sheet but it disrupts the offensive players rhythm and timing to get into his shot especially against the clock winding down. In the playoffs when each possession is valuable, this disruption is magnified since the intensity and pressure is greater than a regular season game.
Where do you see stats like this? I feel like a remember a way to check this on nba.com, but can’t find it anymore.
