   The timing is interesting with Williams possibly missing some upcoming games, but this is ultimately the right move. Omax could use some development with plenty of playtime in Frisco.

   People keep forgetting that players can get assigned to the G League for one night off, and then immediately called back up the next night to play NBA game, and it’s hilarious. Folks acting like he is gone for the season lol

   That being said, OMax won’t be profiting off all the injuries. Not that he shouldn’t get some of those minutes, but he will likely not. If Grant is out, Kidd will give those minutes to Markieff and DJJ, while Green, THJ, and (hopefully) Exum will be occupying that spot at the 3.

   This might actually be really god Omax’s progression, if he can come into the G-League and perform then he’ll help our depth in the long run.
