Adrian Griffin after Bucks loss: ‘We got off to a poor start in the third quarter’
No he’s a well he’s a good player right he makes some some tough shots uh at the end he he kind of got going and hit some deep threes but overall I think we did a pretty good job you know we uh for us I thought it was just uh the turnover so
You know I challenged the the team before the game about our rebounding we held them you know under uh single digits I think seven maybe um so our guys I thought we fought we we kept competing um I just thought the the turnovers really hurt us uh just the
Timing of it and how we were turning the ball over didn’t give us opportunity to even try to get back you know they were just like Point Blank at The Rim um I think that was where we we you know got to be strong with the ball we got to
Make great decisions with the ball I thought that’s where you know that third quarter especially how we started the the third quarter and gave up 47 points U but overall you know like halber is going to score he’s going to get some points uh you know they got a very good
Team but um I thought we we gave ourself a chance but you it’s hard when you you know turn the ball over when you’re talking about doing a pretty good job against what do you feel like you are doing a pretty good job against because when you look at the numbers it would
Suggest that maybe you weren’t doing a good job yeah I mean just the the last couple games that we’ve you know played against him you know the P his pick and roll um kind of frequency is uh has been lower um you know they they Thrive off
Of him and you know I thought our guys like he’s going to make some tough shots and you know he had a couple of ioses where he’s going to shoot him uh from deep but you know outside of that um you know you can’t foul him either and I
Thought we we uh fouled him a couple times and put him to the free throw line but you know overall it it was it was pretty solid like he’s you know good players just hard they’re they’re hard to stop and just kind of how they get
Their points um Meed to there with the turnovers but 47 points total in the third that’s not just you know the handful of turnovers so what in particular happened especially early I think they started on a 20 20 to6 run and really took yeah we you know we came
Out a locker room we just uh kind of out of rhythm um you know I start thought our starters played well up to to that point you know I had the starters in and we just uh got off to a very poor start in the third quarter and then we were
You know playing catchup you know we you got to execute you got to take care of the basketball you got to be able to get stops um you know they they’re a very uh energetic a athletic young group they you know they fly around that they’re very uh athletic from all their
Positions and you know we got to neutralize some of that with our physicality without fouling um but you know we we kept competing um we didn’t give up um you know you learn a lot from games like this and and we’ll just continue to get better what do you feel
Like you’ve learned about this te against well you know they they going to the way they play right that you know they play Fast uh we have to be very disciplined in transition um you know with our schemes and and whatnot you got to execute at a
High level I won’t go into too much detail about you know opportunities for us uh in the future you know if we play them uh in the playoffs or whatnot um but you know you always Gathering Intel and I like some of the stuff that we
Were doing I thought Mar John was great Off the Bench I thought Dre was great um it was a opportunity for our younger guys to get out there and play in a very uh physical High intense game it was playoff atmosphere and I thought they
Handled it well so um we can get better uh we know that you know there’s always room to get better and we just got to keep plugging away you know it’s we got to get ready for San Antonio it’s a quick quick turnaround [Applause]

Why would you hire a rookie head coach for a old championship contending team 🤦🏻♂️
We need a different coach. A pretty good job??😂 it wasn’t the turnovers it was the perimeter defense making mistakes not knowing who to guard. 2nd chance points. We have to move the ball around. I could coach this team better bro what the hell is bro doing sub in the younger guys more often. If I see Pat get more minutes than Marjon and Ajax I’m gonna go crazy
The defense is not good at all! Very bad defense!
This team has become really hard to watch, the mental mistakes and lazy passes are so frustrating. Defense is abysmal, offense not as good especially with Dame struggling.
It really sucks having a totally clueless coach like this. Only to inflate the biggest egos with a 1-4 season series record.
Best coach in the league
Why would you take Dame out the game after he got heated, thats what he needed to go off. SMH. Griff needs to go.
Bring PJ Tucker back
Very athletic and great to watch
What a disgusting organization to have your players storm the locker room.
Trade this idiot now
I think he is in over his head and it's sad for us. Address the perimeter defense please
Pacers own this team
His personality is like our Defense , very low energy!
Is he still in the team?
FIRE HIM
Please fire this coach because I have not seen any improvement from the previous coach
Is this man retarded?
Wake up smh you are in your space AG
