rookie Jett Howard will remain with the G-League affiliate and has been ruled OUT vs Denver — Osceola is traveling to Michigan for a two game road stand in Grand Rapids. Despite the team being ravaged by injures the 11th overall pick will not be available 🤬

I get patience with rookies, but how often do lottery picks get stuck in the G league, even with extreme injuries? Jett has a lot of work to do or this could be Weltman’s biggest flop.

first rook I’ve seen the magic treat like this how is Jett supposed to get better if he’s getting no burn now it’s the perfect time to unleash bro …

Damn Hawkins or Jacquez would be so helpful rn

I would kill for Jacquez right now. Jett was an absolute waste of a pick. He’s giving me Bouknight vibes

  5. There must have been some major disconnect between the FO and Mose or something. Why would they even draft him if Mose doesn’t like the kind of player he is? It was even considered a reach taking Jett at 11 so you would think the FO had a lot of confidence in his abilities yet can’t crack the rotation when we have like 7 players out.

A testament to how awful our front office is at evaluating talent. Unless it’s obvious like it was with Paolo we’ll continue to get trash players like this when there were literally 5-6 guys taken after Jett who are all better and contributing already. Weltman needs gone. His track record for draft picks is utter garbage.

People keep acting like the Magic are screwing Jett over when the much easier answer is that he just looks like ass in practice and can’t win a spot. Which is much more concerning, to me.
